Re: Heartburn
I'm curious about that too because I have not had not ONE case of heartburn since I started back in January? But then again, you stated that you are already taking Prilosec which means it may be preexisting and has nothing to do with this WOE. There may be some other medical issues that are the culprit here?"My goals minus my fears equal my reality"

Re: Heartburn
I always get heartburn when I drinnk a bunch of water at one time. I suppose it makes the acids float up or something.
Try spaciing water out more and drinking more with meals instead of on its own. That helps me sometimes.

Re: Heartburn
I've read about many people who rid themselves of heartburn or AR through Atkins, but I haven't been fortunate enough to have that experience. AR kicked in for me back in September and after months of hoping it would just go away, I finally started on meds in February, which
has helped quite a bit.
I still get it if I eat tomatoes or onions (two foods I love, unfortunately), and I always start to get pain in my esophagus if I'm hungry and need to eat. Eating tamps it down immediately, which makes sense if you think about it.
Sorry you are experiencing this. I feel your pain.
