So I'm doing a little experiment for a few days. I'm going to track food in both FitDay and in The Daily Plate. Just to see how different the totals come out. The calories for breakfast are about 100 calories off, but the carbohydrate count is withing .16. We'll see how it turns out.

Re: Comparison
Okay, so after day 1 of the experiment The Daily Plate was higher in calories by 116. But Fitday was higher in net carbs by 3.9.
This was searching both databases and selecting the foods that matched closest to what I was actually eating. The Daily Plate has a lot more name brand foods, but multiple selections for the exact same name brand food can be different, how does that happen. I switched to The Daily Plate from Fitday, because I liked the layout better and name brand foods were specific to exactly what I was eating, but we will have to see which one I prefer after the next couple of days. Still not a big fan of Fitdays search, it took me forever just to find ground beef!
