  • Stall/weight came to a major halt!!!!!

    Hi guys!Its me im back i need help .I have been following my atkins plan to the letter.I havent cheated since i started Im not understanding whats going on it seems like the progress i have been making is at a stand still?

    My carb intake daily is 35 g

    I havent had any atkins approved desserts in almost a month

    i dont eat bread or sugars of any kind

    i have been lifting weights

    i have been dancing 2 hours a day fast pace

    i drink 2 64oz jugs of water daily

    i dont know whats up

    Post your menu. Be sure to add the amounts of all the foods and beverages you have. And since you are on OWL Rung 2, be sure to indicate which veggie is your OWL Rung 1 veg.

    Additionally, are you losing inches? The loss of inches is a good indicator of fat loss, according to Dr. Atkins.

      How long have you been stalled? Are you measuring inches?

      Have you added any new foods lately in OWL that may be stalling you?

      Posting a full menu will help.
      Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"
      STAC Restart: 1/05/09
      306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!

      Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
      Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

      Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
      Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
      Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
      Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!

        one thought... I don't know how much you have to lose, but with dancing hard 2 hours daily.. it's possible you're gaining muscle too...
        2-15-10 194.8 - highest ever!
        2-20-10 190.4 - new scale
        3-20-10 177.8 - 1 month
        5-10-10 169.8 - 25 pounds gone!

          I am in pre maint and I feel your pain. I haven't lost anything for a few weeks. I am stuck but haven't hit four weeks yet so can't call it a stall.

          After Wednesday my woe is probably going to go south for a bit. I am going in the hospital Thursday to have my second heart surgery in less than a year. I am going to try my best to follow plan but I need to do what the doctor and hospital tell me too.

          Maybe I will get lucky and my little hiatus will help me out.

          Good Luck to you and keep up the great work. I am sure once this breaks you will have a giant Wooosh.

                  I agree with the scales can lie philosophy. My scale has hardly moved in months, but I have gone down to a size 16 that is is not even tight, with a non stretch waistband, buttons and a zipper, so I know something is still happening. I bought 6 new pairs of shorts yesterday all the same size. Just keep going!
                  1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
                  2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
                  3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
                  Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight
                  (Next pic at 187)






                  Current Mini Goals:
                  1) 35 pounds lost
                  2) 40 pounds lost to move to Rung 5
                  3) 45 pounds lost to update 15 pound loss picture series

                    OMG scales lie, seriously. I have been around the same weight for about 3 weeks now but all my old clothes fit when I weighed in the 120's. But I weigh 133. What does that tell you? Inches matter. Scales lie.
