  • Does anyone do a weekly menu plan for dinner?

If so, what do your dinners look like this week? I am getting bored and need new ideas. I am tired of meat and salad or veggie.

Thanks Betty! That is a great site! I was just telling my husband how I, too, am bored with my menu. I make a lot of great things, don't get me wrong, but I'm just in a rut and having a hard time thinking of something different.

In Main dishes under ground beef there is an Italian cassarole recipe that is awesome! I have mine over minced cauliflower, my family has it over egg noodles.

Yah I love this site too, best thing of it is that you can see in one glance what recipes are inductionfriendly, so you don't need to struggle through all the recipes before you know what ones are ok and what ones not !!!

Thanks! This is our menu for the week...

              Monday: Taco Salad

              Tuesday: Chicken and Spinach Parm

              Wednesday: Grilled chicken and veggies

Thursday: Volleyball night, so either Subway or McD's for the kids and I will have leftover Chicken and Spinach Parm because I know my kids won't eat it on Tuesday night.

Friday: The kids and dh are having pizza--don't know what I will have. Maybe a chicken caesear with leftover grilled chicken from Wed.

Not really in any particular order, but I picked up these things to have for dinner this week so far

Pork chops which I will bread in spicy pork rinds and spices and fry with a salad on the side with bacon bits and Marie's Creamy Feta dressing

Bonless skinless chicken breasts (2 packages) One night I will marinate them in italian dressing and cook them on the grill and serve with steamed cauliflower and cheese.

The other nite I will spice them up with cajun seasonings and pop them on the George Foreman grill and serve them with steamed green beans w/ bacon (or I may dip the chicken breasts in eggs and coat w/ parmesean cheese and spices and fry them, depends on my mood)

Hamburger which I'll season make into patties and cook on the George Foreman, top w/ bacon and cheese and avocado and serve with a mixed baby herb salad with olive oil/vinegar and freshly grated parmesean cheese.

Ribeye steaks which I'll marnate and cook on the charcoal grill and serve with steamed broccoli topped with cheese and a small salad.

Shrimp which I'll peel and devine and steam lightly with Old Bay seasoning and serve with homemade cocktail sauce (made with Atkins ketchup, lemon juice, crushed red peppers and horseradish) served with a spinach salad topped with crumbled bacon, hard boiled eggs and an oil/vinegar herb dressing.

BTW, we share tons of dinner ideas in the cooking section of ADBB, you should drop by!

There is always extra! Usually I take it for lunch the next day, but I always keep canned tuna handy so I don't mind sharing! :joy

Excellent website, ttdriver! Man, I feel like I'm back on my "Atkin's Honeymoon" cloud again. Nice job of putting together quick simple low carb recipes. Kudos.
By they way, to the author of this thread. I have been creating my own personal menus about a year and half, preagaing my Atkin's lifestyle.
