  • ANOTHER NEWBIE

    Hello Everyone,
I have been doing Atkins for 6weeks now, I don't know how much weight I have loss, because I haven't weighted yet. I plan to go and buy me a scale this weekend. I feel like I have loss some weight though, because all of my clothes are loose on me. I got to lose 130lbs to get to my design weight. I have been encourgaged by all the before and after pictures that I have seen, and If other can do it then so can I. Thanks for all the wonder recipes. I am going to use some of them for our dinner that my family is having for Mother's Day. I am still trying to figure out how to post these icons, if someone would tell me how to post them.

Welcome welcome.Glad you have joined the wagon. Just one word to the wise when you get that scale get a tape measure too. Weight is a funny thing but the tape measure won't lie. If you gain muscle the scale goes up the tape goes down. I prefer the tape but have an obsession with the scale myself. You can do it.

Welcome aboard! In addition to the tape measure and scale, don't forget to do some pictures for yourself throughout the journey as well. Those really help me especially when I can't see the changes for myself objectively. Hope you have fun here!

Hello and Welcome to the ha ! I have to say, I wouldnt bring a scale into my house, I only have a tape measure. That is only because I think I would be tempted to step on it every day! I actually weigh myself away from the house so then I know I wont go weigh in until I feel ready. But welcome to the best diet bulletin board on this side of the net! I know you will find all of the support you need!
