The carb options line has been cancelled in Canada (it has already been discontinued, what's left on the shelves is it!). I called and they confirmed it. The girl on the phone said there is no plan to reintroduce it, and if you do plan on stocking up to watch best before dates as it was discontinued in January. So there was some truth to the rumour.

I'd heard this too, but I've also heard that President's Choice will be coming out with a low carb line (maybe they already have...?). I always liked their stuff, so hopefully their low carb products will be good too.Pixiepants!!

they did but it's not really the same kind of products as Carb Options. they do have a low carb ketchup that's awesome ( and it's only .99!) and they do have a bbq sauce too but I haven't tried it. The rest of the 'blue Menu' line is low fat/low cal/high fibre. It's not a low carb line, just a couple of low carb products in they're Blue Menu Line.Originally posted by CurveegrrlI'd heard this too, but I've also heard that President's Choice will be coming out with a low carb line (maybe they already have...?). Here's a list of all the products available and the nutritional info.

Re: Carb Options is discontinued in Canada however...
I heard that there was legislation in the works in Canada to not allow nay food to say low carb or atkins on it. And soon after that I noticed all the carb options stuff disappearing, I will have to try this ketchup as it is what I'm missing most but I liked making the teri yaki chicken too, and the bbq of which I have a bit left.

Re: Carb Options is discontinued in Canada however...
Most of the grocery/supermarkets, discontinued the Carboption products months ago. And as at Monday, Safeway has most of their Atkins products on for 1/2 price, whatever they have left. There is a Canadian website that I order from www.feelgreatcanada.ca that sells and ships lc products, including leftover Carb Option products, could be a bit stale dated, but it really doesn't matter in sauces, they say they are good for 6-9 months after due date. Shipping is maximum of $5.95, anywhere in Canada. THey are very reputable, and give immediate attention if necessary. I bough some Atkins BBQ sauce for $1.97 a bottle!!

Re: Carb Options is discontinued in Canada however...
Our government has acted like a dictatorship where the selling of low-carb products is concerned. I think they are afraid that they cannot afford to feed an entire nation on a low-carb diet, so they want to discourage it as much as possible. Refined Carbs are cheap, readily available, and make up a good deal of the economy in terms of manufactured goods.Jennifer (48 year old Atkid)
