I found i really like club soda.. no cals not carbs ... I want to know can i consider this as water... i do not like water much but hey if i have to i can learn to love it...Can i put a carb and cal free taste to my water and does it still count as water? Day 4 and two pounds gone not bad. I still have to kick the coffe addiction but hey just another challange.

I too drink club soda, sometimes with a twist of lemon or lime. However I would disagree that it can be counted towards your water intake. In my opinion, water is just plain water.
"Carbonated beverages require carbon dioxide (gaseous CO2) for the fizz.
Carbonation occurs when carbon dioxide gas is added to a water based liquid. The carbon dioxide reacts chemically with the water molecules to form carbonic acid according to the following reaction :
CO2 + H2O Ã H2CO3 (carbonic acid)."
That process changes water, effects ph levels, etc. That's why I don't count carbonated beverages towards my real water intake. Like I said, I still drink it, I just don't count it!

I dont count it as my water either. I like to drink it with lemon or lime when I am craving a pop or somthing sweet, however i dont add any splenda to it. I think it is more of the carbonated texture I am after. So all in all, I dont consider it as part of my water intake.
