End of Day 2 and I'm WIRED!

    Hello all,
It's the end of Day 2 of Induction for me. I feel great.. almost too great. It's well past my bedtime, and I cannot fall asleep. I'd even go so far as to say that I have extra energy. Is this a result of the food? I mean, I know the book says you have more energy on this WOE, but I didn't think it meant "BAM! You're wide awake all night by the end of the second day!"

I know this is wrong, but I can't wait to hop on the scale tomorrow morning. Water weight or not, that's a huge motivator & reward.

I think your body is rejoycing with the steady fuel, not the ups and downs we get with carbs

I'm at day 4 and I haven't been able to fall asleep for the past 3 nights. I love the way it makes me feel - I was on Atkins a couple years ago and fell off the wagon; so glad I'm back. I had been doing WW with no results for the past 6 months.

Effie, are you one of the lucky ones that don't have the Induction Flu? Wow!! :yikes I didn't start feeling energy until 2 weeks into this WOL but when it kicked in.... YA!!!!

ya know... I thought that was weird. I did Atkins about a year and a half ago and had the Induction flu BIG TIME. I had to call out sick to work because of it -- luckily my boss was a low-carber so he totally understood! But yeah, no induction flu yet, and now it's day 5! Does that mean I'm in the clear, or maybe it just hasn't caught me yet?

I also want to note that I was at a fundraising auction tonight and there was a table FULL of desserts, about 18 varieties. I didn't even stop to have a sniff. yay me!
