I think your refering to what is known as "modified" on going wieght loss (OWL)? It is my understanding that instead of adding 5 more carbs each day, you just add the foods from the ladder but keep your carbs at 20. I'm pretty sure you still have to go through all the rugs in order to determine foods that may stall you. It would be a long while after induction before you'd add milk or LC bread. Somewhere in the OWL forum there is a list of the rungs of the carb ladder. But yes I think your basic premise is correct that if you stay at 20 carbs longer you may lose faster, but some foods like nuts may still cause you to stop losing even if your below 20 carbs. That's part of the reason following the rungs are important. I'm sure there is more to be said on the subject but I'll leave that to some of the veterens around here. :wave

You're not likely to lost as fast as you did on induction as a lot of that weight was water and glycogen reserves. But you *might* lose faster than if you upped your carbs to 25g, or you might not as your body might think you're starving it. Also, if you take some of your carbs as 'low-carb bread' or whatever, you'll be skipping your veggies!
