    help.

i developed this odd rash on my neck... I was wondering if it is connected to my eating, or weight loss. I should ask a dermatologist but im afraid he would assume that it is because im on atkins.. because who doesnt blame EVERYTHING on our diet? I have been eating according to induction rules.. its just that.. this rash is odd. and it is not spreading.. only on my neck... the back to be specific.

Could possibly be eczema which is surfacing due to a reaction with something you ate. I had horrible eczema for years, and I was given a list of foods to avoid. I think they were all foods with a high (nickel, copper, iron?) content. I'll have to look that up.

Obviously you are eating a lot differently now, but is there any one food that might be brand new to you?

It could also be unrelated to the diet. Were you in the sun? Are you wearing any new clothes? Did you roll in poison ivy?

im thinking it is the sun.. or it could be the prolonged amount of time i have spent at the gym without washing my sweat. I dont know if its the food because i have been eating sonsistently for about 5 months.. it could be the weight loss effect.. not sure...

sounds more like a problem from an external source rather than an internal source. Take a shower, will ya?

Hydrocortisone (1% ointment) is a quick fix if it's bothering you.
