  • My kitchen caught on Fire

Thats a good way to lose weight, burn your kitchen up in a fire. I had a small fire in my great room/kitchen today,, I spent the whole day cleaning up soot. It was small and my Insurance will be here on Friday to paint and fix up the damange. What a way to lose weight. It sure made me understand more and feel much more deeply for those that lose things due to a fire. Fire is dangerous, it makes my scale look like a angel.

We are all safe and only minimual damage that some paint and fix up will take care of, but it sure has given me a deep appreciation of life and how its too short to sweat the small stuff.....

Stuck to the eating plan but didnt get all my water drank. Actually, poured most of it on the fire this morning. If it had been before I went on this Way of eating, I would of used this event to trigger a binge,, somehow I managed to get thru it.

Everything is all cleaned up, and I ready to get back to my structure. What a day!

I had a fire back in January and I hit a new low weight the next day. Unfortunately I haven't seen it since, but I will.

I know how stressfull all that can be, I'm glad nobody was hurt.

:wave Very happy to hear you are ok.
I swore off using pork rinds as a medium to roll meat or chicken in because of the huge, near firery, splatters. My method now is to put a lid on anything I am cooking it saves my skin and eases the after cooking cleanup. I have only had one flare up but I had my lid in hand and just covered it.
