Hi, I am sorry to hear that you haven't been losing. Can you post a copy of your menus for the past couple of days?

We may see things that you could cut out etc.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

I agree with Rich. Post a couple of days menus including measurements of what and how much you ate.

Your menu looks nice. I am thinking since you just started exercising may be the culprit..but don't be discouraged. When you go from 0-60 (going from couch to gym), you may not see a loss on the scale because you're building lean muscle, while burning the fat. Curves took your measurements right? Give it a month! I bet you will be quite pleased with the results!!!

I didn't lose much on the scale when I used Curves...but the inches just melted off.

Hang in there and keep up the good work. The scale is not the only indicator of your progress!!

            Thanks

I'm pleasedthat I seem to be foig the right thing. I havent officially joined curves tho, so no measurements. I am on a trial basis for 2 weeks. Its likely that I will join. I really like it better than I thought I would.

            Just one other thing..........

Is Salt allowed? I can not recall if I ever saw that in the book. I have been using it....not alot but if its a NO-No I have to stop that. :yes

Yes salt is allowed. Just depends on how much. If you feel bloated....you may be sensitive to it and may have to cut down. I can be sensitive to it at times, but the longer I'm on Atkins, the less seasonings I need...and tend to stay away from added salt...and add in other flavors like Mrs Dash and garlic seasonings. Its not forbidden...just need to watch how you react. If you drink enough water in your day you may not have to watch it as closely.

I'm glad you liked Curves. It really does work! And lucky you getting 2 weeks free trial. I only got 7 days before I had to decide..but after the 3rd day...I was smitten! LOL

                Crymsinn,

How much do you have to loose?
                Are you on any medications?
                Do your clothes feel looser?

I would browse through chapter (I think it is 13) where they discuss yeast etc. This could be holding you back?

                  lose

well im about 5' 2" and i weigh about 184lb. I'd like to lose about 50-60 lbs realistically i am not sure thats possible. But Im spose to be less than that apparently according to some chart my DR has.

I am not on any meds, and my clothes dont feel any different....I have always worn baggy clothes though to hide in.

                    what is english cos?

do your own measuring and you will see inches of fat leaving even when the scale says nothing is going on.

Our bodies are mass morphing adding muscle mass, losing fat mass and water mass is constantly fluctuating depending on what we are doing. The human body responds to new exercise as a new threat based on that load you applied to the muscles and they quickly repsond by adding water called superhydration which ads scale weight. when your muscle discover that new load is their new normal load they will release the fluid weight and poof overnight pounds go.
Also for very complicated biochem reasons we plump our tissues with fluids when fat is being removed from those tissues and until your body exceeds its tolerence for that fluid and sheds that fluid too you will not see scale weight loss for those inches of fat you have lost so make friends with your tapemeasure and get active on the days you don't go to curves like walking or something and watch yourself melt away as you become the healthier smaller person you want to be.

                    Happy low carbing

Switch to the Morton Lite Salt that has 1/3 less sodium and is an excellent source of potassium which we need anyway. It tastes the same as regular salt.

                      HANG IN!!
