  • 20/24 Challenge #2 ~ Semi Annual Challenge

    20/24 CHALLENGE #2
    A SEMI-ANNUAL CHALLENGE

    This challenge is for any member of the ADBB but
    specifically targeting those who are not involved in any challenge or
    are not doing any exercise.


    Here's how the challenge works:
    1. Sign up in this thread
    2. Commit to doing 20 minutes of exercise in one 24 hour period.
    3. Tell us what exericse you're going to do
    4. Live up to your commitment
    5. Post your achievement
    6. Earn the award
    Sign up
    Now thru July 9

    Challenge Day
    July 10, 2007

    During the day of the challenge, do
    20 SOLID MINUTES
    of exercise.
    Don't stop for a break, don't answer the phone, don't take a nap and
    no, you can't do 10 minutes, take a rest and do 10 more minutes.
    We want a solid 20 minutes of movement!

    Awards will be handed out on
    July 11, 2007
    to those who signed up on time,
    posted the commitment and their achievement.

    Suggestions for exercise would be but not llimited to:
    • walk
    • jog
    • swim
    • bike
    • stability ball exercise
    • yoga
    • pilates
    • weight training
    • DVD workouts
    • Slim in 6
    • treadmill
    This is possibly the easiest award to earna on this board.
    20 minutes in 24 hours..... now who couldn't do that?

    While you're contemplating, take time to look through the challenges provided
    by and hosted by other members of the ADBB. Perhaps, after you've gotten
    your feet wet (with sweat ) you'll decide to join one!!!

        Count me in. I will do 20 minutes on my elliptical. I have never done 20 minutes on that darn machine without stopping so that will be a good test for me. Thanks for the challenge Mrs. Jimmie.

                    Thanks for the invite, I'll take the challenge!

                    I'll be on vacation in Massachusetts that week & this is perfect - it will keep me ON TRACK! I don't know if I'll be hiking, swimming or playing tennis yet, but I'll definitely find something good to do.

                    (I'm not sure if there is going to be a computer at the resort for me to use to report back, but I'll let you know as soon as I'm back in civilization!)

                            this is a great way to get familiar with the forum and the challenges and i love seieng our new members getting active and involved!

                            it's perfectly fine to check in when you get back. i'll hand out awards on the 11th but i'll get to anyone who checks in late... some things can't be helped.

                              hey, jr, is going to be a part of the hendricks team so i'll learn to accept him. lolol
                              good to have you! i don't have the running after a 3 yr. old on the list but i KNOW that can be work out! i'm so thankful those days are over for me!
