    20/24 CHALLENGE CHALLENGE


    This is the award you can earn:

    please don't use it till you've earned it


    This challenge is for any member of the ADBB but
    specifically targeting those who are not involved in any challenge or
    are not doing any exercise.
    ALL ARE WELCOME!!!!!!



    Here's how the challenge works:
    1. Sign up in this thread .... SIGN UP BEGINS JULY 5 THRU JULY 10
    2. Commit to doing 20 minutes of exercise on July 11, 2008.
    3. Tell us what exericse you're going to do (this is not written in blood, you may change your activity)
    4. Live up to your commitment
    5. Post your achievement
    6. Earn the award
    SIGN UP BEGINS JULY 5 THRU JULY 10



    The date this challenge will take place is
    JULY 11, 2007
    During that day, do
    20 SOLID MINUTES
    of exercise.
    Don't stop for a break, don't answer the phone, don't take a nap.
    We want a solid 20 minutes of movement!

    AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN ON
    JULY 14



    Suggestions for exercise would be but not llimited to:
    • walk
    • jog
    • swim
    • bike
    • stability ball exercise
    • yoga
    • pilates
    • weight training
    • DVD workouts
    • Slim in 6
    • treadmill
    This is possibly the easiest award you can earn on this board.


    20 minutes in 24 hours..... now who couldn't do that?


    While you're contemplating, take time to look through the challenges provided
    by and hosted by other members of the ADBB. Perhaps, after you've gotten
    your feet wet (with sweat ) you'll decide to join one!!!

      Should it be something I am not already doing in a challenge?

        I would like to sign up for the the 20/24 challenge! This is my first challenge, how do I sign up? (Probably a dumb question to which I will find the answer immediately after posting this).

          great to see you glenn and lin!!!!

          i love starting a challenge to see who comes and i love seeing our new members getting involved!

          lin, you joined the challenge by simply saying you were joining. easy peasy

          glenn, this can work with any of the other challenges you are in. you can use this for your mileage, stab. ball or whatever. OR you can actually do 20 minutes of something you don't normally do just to get a feel for a new routine.

            I'll commit to walking/jogging no less than 20 minutes on Friday, July 11th!

              I'll take my dog Yenta out for a nice walk around the reservoir. I know it takes more than 20 minutes to do that, but it will be nice. =)

                  I'm in! I would love to take a 20 minute walk, but it's 110 degrees out these days...so I'll stay indoors and do pilates--for 20 minutes, or more

                    This is my first challenge, and I am in. I commit to walking for 20 min. on July 11th, and if weather doesnt permit I will get on my elliptical. Please tell me how to sign up (or if I just did), as this is my first challenge.

                            I am in too! At least 20 minutes on the Elliptical for me (usually more like 40).
