    It's time again for the Semi Annual

    DRINK UP! WATER CHALLENGE
    ~~~~~



    Many of us don't get enough water for whatever reason. We get busy, we substitute, we just plain forget and sometimes we just don't care.

    There are several calculations for determining just how much water one should drink per day.

    RULES OF THE CHALLENGE
    1. SIGN UP! Signing up is simple, just make a post and you're done.
    2. You will be committing to drinking the minimum of 64 ounces of plain water. I don't care if you drink 80 or 100 or whatever. I am only concerned with the minimum of 64 ounces.
    3. Post daily. This will help you stay more committed.

    Here's some helpful hints
    • Space out your water consumption trying not to overload and catch up in the late hours of the day.
    • Keep track of the amounts by using measured containers. For example, 1/2 gallon or 1 gallon milk cartons or other type of pitcher or drinking bottled water in 16 or 20 ounce marked containers.
    • Keep your water bottle/glass/container near you during the day. Set it on your desk, take it with you if you walk, etc. Having it handy makes it easier.
    measurements:
    pint = 16 oz.
    quart = 32 oz.
    1/2 gallon = 64 oz.

          I am in!!! Very excited to do this, I absolutely love water and have been trying to kick the diet soda habit for a while and I believe this will help me do that. In addition to so many oz. a day for water consumption, I also commit to no soda during the challenge.

              1st goal 235 (I want to meet this goal by wedding)
              2nd goal 220 (I would like to meet his by Sept)
              3rd goal 200 (Want to meet this goal by Dec)
              My year goal 175
              Hopefully all my goals will be reached way before I've got I wanted to give myself some good goals.

                  yes, please try to post everyday. that makes it easier for me to chart everyone but also serves as a daily reminder to you to drink your water

                  everyone should remember, this is a 64 oz per day challenge. anyone can drink more but the goal is 64 oz.

                    I'll join too. It will be great for me to count my water again. Everything is too intuitive with me. So here I am.
                    Startdate: November 18, 2007. Female 5'2"

                          but there is some problem I'm a student so I don't think that I will be able to post every day so is that ok or not (but I will try to post dailly but I can't promise you)
