Re: Mid-Year Resolution Challenge
Hi Cleochatra,
I hear you, but...I not only need to eat extremely low carb (induction level), but also low cal (not much more than 1000 calories a day) in order to lose anything. I assume the years of yo-yoing have screwed up my metabolism to such an extent that it has become so difficult. For the past six weeks I have only eaten meat, poultry and fish, eggs, some butter or olive oil and celery, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumber and fresh ginger. Yesterday I had cheese for the first time (again). But why do you say eating tomato and cheese is like eating a candy bar? The cheese (full fat) has lots of protein and fat and not so many carbs. I wish I could say that I am never hungry, but I am - most of the time, even sticking to the most strict level. I have major problems with portion control.
I keep meaning to tell you how cute and happy you look in your second photo!
