    Re: Mid-Year Resolution Challenge

Huge favor-askin' time! I am going to have to step away from the computer for a little while due to personal reasons. I promise I will return, but it won't be for a little while longer.

What I would like to see is someone else (or all of you) run with this challenge and keep it going, because I so believe in this! This is what really got me going last year, and is how I lost that first 107 pounds!

I just didn't want to disappear from the board and have y'all wonder where the heck I went! I just realize that after having spent over 9 hours online yesterday, I have a real addiciton to the internet and to ADBB and I'm going to have to ease off and start back up slowly again after the kids have begun school and after I've gotten better control of myself.

I am so sorry for jumping in and then having to smack myself for not having any control, but I know that even though it might be a minor inconvenience to the challenge in some ways, it also means that I'll be a much more well-functioning challenge-mate as time goes by.

I just didn't want you to think I'd cut, run and flaked out. I still plan to hit my goal of Onederland by January 1st! I know we'll all reach goal!

So, please keep plugging along and know I'll be back! I apologize sincerely for backing out as the head of the challenge, and I apologize for letting you down in doing so. You're like family to me, and I really hate letting down family.

I love you guys! If you have any further questions, please ask Perry or an administrator. I will be back!

    Love,

    Jamie

I would love to join this challange. I WILL BE 51 pounds lighter by 12/31. I have never been a part of a challange, so what do I do?

                Re: Mid-Year Resolution Challenge

I would like to join this challenge also. I'd like to be down to at least 220 by Christmas (that would make a nice Christmas present to myself). Then when all the excitement for the new year starts I can try to get below 200 by the end of January (I hope). (Or at least lose a dress size.)

So, my goal is to lose 46 pounds between now and Christmas.

                Yippee!

P.S. Oh, and are we supposed to check in on a thread each day like we do the exercise challenge? Or what?

                      Hi, there, sweetie peeties!

I've taken a couple of days off and am resolved to only spend an hour or so here a day. We'll see how long that lasts! This vboard is so wonderful, it's hard to stay away for long.

I'm so glad to see you all are in the challenge! Tomorrow I will work up everyone's stats so that keeping tally will be fairly uncomplicated! Of course, I will begin my weigh in next Monday as I missed the one yesterday.

I know we'll all make goal! Last year on the 20th of August I began this WOE. I've goofed around long enough! We'll make it, won't we!

                      Woohoo!

*hip bumps and high fives down the line*

I did as well after a rough weekend that won't be happening again. It was a celebration I attended and I told myself I was not going to have alcohol and when we went out to dinner I would have a salad, well that didn't work. In the future, I plan to eat before I go out so that have the desires to eat the wrong things as well as I will leave my ID in the car so I can't order a drink. Hope this works as I REALLY want to get this weight off.

New Me, just weigh in each Monday and let us know how you're doing!

I re-weighed and I have 60 pounds to lose! Time to get busy with it!

We're going to be thinner by January 1st!

Feel free to post menus, exercise, any thoughts you have or anything you'd like to see in this challenge. I tend to be low-key, so what would help keep you guys motivated and going strong?

                          Let me know!

                          We're in this together!

                          Love,
