  • ICES CHALLENGE Move IT (Extended Induction)

    So here we are again another Month another Challenge Basically the
    ICES CHALLENGE was a challenge started Between 2 Friends Sarah and Yoly in the first challenge we had challenged ourselves to drop the cream, go back to induction, and really commit ourselves to exercise oh, ya and also not to weigh for 1 entire month. It was hard but, with the Support of eachother we made it through and it was awesome. We both did fantastic and lost weight we also learned a lot of things about ourselves which makes it that much more important.

    This ICES CHALLENGE is basically going to focus on Extended Induction, No Scale and also more Exercise. This is very important. I am not exactly sure of the No weigh rules if we are going to weigh every 2 weeks I myself am not goint to Weigh till the Beginning of Next Month.

    This Challenge is for anyone struggling you make the Challenge what you want if you are having Problem giving up something make it a pact to give it up for 1 month Beween all of us, for me it's cream again, For Yoly Ketchup LOL, maybe for you it's Water, or No POP, it's up to you whatever it is we will help you through it.

    Common in Everyone I CHALLENGE YOU to a HEALTHIER you and to continued SUCCESS TOGETHER we CAN do this and we will succeed

    I'm in! I will do extended induction! And I will exercise more! And only weigh when you say I can weigh! (starting tomorrow, right?? I can weigh one more time????? Scale junky!!)

    Okay, and my give up is actually the opposite. I will try beef 4x this month! I will make myself cook a VARIETY of meats (i.e. NOT just boneless skinless chicken). I am such a wimp with meat!

      Sounds So awesome Kimberly So Glad you could Join us, the Challenge does start tomorrow So Please measure and weigh yourself for the last time till the Next Scale Weigh in which we will decide on in the next couple of days. I would love to be able to post the measurement and Scale loss at the end of the 4 weeks that would be excellent. Even better put your start measures in your Siggie so ya don't lose them LOL. I do that all the time.

      So you challenge yourself to cook more Beef well, that's different and I wanna know what you are Cookin then Sweety.

          Yup No weighing Wannabe I totally Know you can do it Sweety it's a great thing to get rid of that little metal Monster I have done sooo much better since I have got rid of mine I don't focus on the scale any more Just what's comming tomorrow. it's not about the scale any how it's about how you feel about you.

              Oh I am -so- doing this challenge! I've had the hardest few weeks I've ever had in my life just wrap up. I met my birth mother for the first time and that turned out to be much more complicated than I had expected, and darn it if that didn't trigger my body into a massive stress response, so enter PMS 3 weeks early and my TOM 3 weeks early, plus a couple good migraines thrown in and some utter exhaustion. Then my son arrived back from his summer vacation with the grandparents and then had his hernia surgery last tuesday. My adoptive parents stayed to watch him so I wouldn't miss work, but wow what alot of stress. So I was able to exercise more than twice during that whole time, and a few pizzas were eaten and some bread and now i'm up 10 pounds with it all to 233.5. So here we go starting over again. Well my mind-space is feeling much better now and I feel normal again and not so depressed. I hate depressed. that was bad. and funny thing is I can't see the reason why I was feeling that way now. Yes I had some really nasty stuff to deal with but why did it put me in that dark cloud i was in? so i may be bloated as all **** now, but at least i can think clearly again.


              So, no coffee for me, no pop for me (i'm finishing my last diet pepsi now), no cream, no splenda. More exercise, like a half hour every day if not an hour. and 100+oz of water, so no crystal light either.

              I think my demons have been aspartame in the diet pop, too much splenda, too much pizza!! not enough water.

              And this saturday we go to pick up our new puppy! Yay! something fun! I'm gonna go home right now and cook up all the meals for the next week.

                  Okay, what does ICES stand for?

                  I'm in, BUT I have to weigh in once a week for the Exercise Challenge and the Mid-Year Goal Challenge...What can I say, I'm just in all kinds of stuff around here! Good thing the BCtcCW doesn't require weigh in's. Let's face it, once a week is better then 4x's a day. Don't say it, I already know. I'm a scale freak.

                  Okay, so what do I give up? Let me think a minute. Hmm....well...coffee is my cruch in the morning, diet pop is something that I like when it's the weekend. Blaahh....okay, so there's the TWO (count 'em, 1-2) things I'm giving up until Oct 1st...and beyond I'm sure.

                  No coffee. No pop. Look out world!

                      All right Lisa Sounds good But, you'll ahve to give them up till the 12th of October, and the weighing once a week is OK. I myself am not going to weigh for a while I do better knowing well not knowing what I weigh.

                        Oh, you wanna know what Ices stands for. Oh Surely well when Yoly and I first started this challenge this is what it stood for.
                        I (back to induction)
                        C ( no cream)
                        E (EXERCISE)
                        S ( no scale)

                        So there you have it, I kept the name cause after the last month I figured it's best to keep it cause that's how we started the whole thing.

                            No you don't have to give up 2 things Just pick something that you think is holding you back like maybe too much condinments, or too little water, maybe too much aspertame or something it can be whatever you want it to be.
