Re: ICES CHALLENGE Move IT (Extended Induction)

I am off to run outside yes outside I am excited. Good for you on doing some form of exercise Kimberly it's important to try and do something even if you don't want to. I have had a lot of days like that but, if you just make yourself do it you will feel better about yourself at the end of the day.

Glad to see your tapes went well Yoly you are one tape Maniac I must say. I don't know how you stay modivated to do the tapes I just can't LOL. We all do what we can to get our exercise in and that's what's important.

Way to go Speedy you are off to a wonderful start I am Proud of ya. ((((HUGS)))

    How is everyone elese doing???

Caffeine is a diuretic...that could be part of the reason.

I'm on day 2 of no coffee...so far so good!

Oh dear the water retention will pass drink ore water the next couple days so you don't have major withdrawls and such water retention.

I did great I jogged outside and went I am thinking 4 miles or so I am not sure how far just know I could have went way farther LOL. DOn't wanna wreck myself that's for sure. It seems easier outside to me for some reason then on the treadmill I don't know why it just does. My body feels better in the elements.

So I have a break for 5 minutes and thought I would post take care all ahve a great day.

Re: ICES CHALLENGE Move IT (Extended Induction)

Rikki - OMG, did you say beer? That is great, you are going to notice such a positive change, I am glad that you are here and have committed to do strict induction with no cheating. Keep at it and by the end of the month I KNOW that you'll lose a ton.

Kimberly - wowzers, I wouldn't have felt like doing much excercise with a fever either. Get plenty of rest, drink some chicken broth, and pop the Vitamin C, also try Green Tea (decaf of course) and Camomille tea, this combination really helps me when I feel something coming on. I hope you feel better soon.

Sarah - 4 miles, holy cow, that's fantastic. I know you were extra sore today so I'm really proud of you getting out there and working it. You'll be in Onderland by the end of this challenge I'm 100% sure of it.

Sheshy and Wannabe - I am so increadibly impressed by you two, giving up cafinated coffee is not easy. I would even go as far as to consider caffeine an addiction, so I am really proud of both of you for commiting to this and kicking the habit. Good job staying strong and making a change in the postive direction. I am so proud to have you guys on my team!

I'd like something to kick my butt, not just a leisure jog for 30 minutes And I've heard alot of people talk about it, and I searched on google for it and it said $14.95 plus s&h, is that the right thing or is it more expensive? For some reason I thought it was.
Sounds like you are totally ready for Slim in 6. I think it's 14.95 for the two workouts that you will use the most. I would recommend doing Start it Up for about 2 weeks and once mastered moving into Ramp it Up. Of course I just started this a week and a half ago so I'm not an expert yet, Barbde and Brook could probably help you out way more then me.

Wow! Look at all of ya!

I'm an eating machine. No coffee. No pop. No scale. Good grief! Sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, die with Turbo Jam, sleep, eat, sleep, eat.

I have SI6 too....it's definitly a really good kick in the pants. Yolly gave a great idea of how to do SI6. I do each level a week at a time because I have 2 left feet and need refresher's to each level. I have yet to use weights with mine...I have stretchie bands for the Ramp It Up level (or is it Burn It Up?) from doing WATP. Best wishes if you pick up SI6.

                          Best wishes everyone!
