  • The Do Something for Yourself Challange!!!

    I challange every person to do something for yourself at least once a week!! I am a stay at home Mom and I know that I NEVER get to do ANYTHING for ME!! I'm tired of it!! I know tons of working moms and woman w/out kids who all go through this!!

    Well, I got my nails done last saturday, BY MYSELF, and it was great.I also blow-dried and flat ironed ALL of my hair straight...which I never have time for!! I loved the ME time. I was in a great mood ALL WEEK!! I really believe that if you do something that makes you happy, it shines on all you do!!!

    TIME TO START SHINING LADIES!!!

    It doesn't have to be something extravagant...It can be a walk by yourself, giving or getting a pedicure..for you!! Buying a new lipstick, going to a movie with some girl friends, anything that makes you happy that you don't normally do.

    It has to be something that you put second to all of the things in your life. Let's do it!!! Time for us to start doing something nice for ourselves.

    The rules are:
    1.) It has to be for you!! NO ONE ELSE!!
    2.)You have to do something at least once a week!!
    3.)I will post a new thread once a week. On your day(s) check in and tell us what you did, why and how you feel!!!!

    *Dieting makes you look good with your clothes on...exercise make you look good with them off.*

    I consider the time I spend at this board and connecting with all the wonderful people here just for me.
    The time I put into fitday to make sure I am following this WOE everyday just for me.
    So I do something special for me every day!!!

        Well I like to look at the glass half full....makes life a lot easier. So everytime I buy something because I am eating this way...be it a protein powder or a name brand salad dressing instead of a store brand or whatever I am choosing to do it for myself because I am special and worth it and I don't feel guilty about it...too much...LOL!

        It is the little things and being thankful for them...you know?
