    Re: Mid-Year Resolution Thread, Nov.7-12

Thanks for the well-wishes, everyone. Alas, I am still sick today. Finally dragged myself to the doctor, and the verdict is strep throat. Arrrgh. I'm home now, with an anti-biotic, this green anti-bacterial numbing stuff I have to gargle, and plenty of water. This is definitely not how I wanted to spend the last three days!

Hang in there, guys! You're all doing so well to keep going! I promise I'll be back more when this magazine is out of my auburn hair. I am really trying to get this sucker finished so that I can get back to normalcy. Whatever that is.

If it makes anyone feel better, I spent allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day yesterday off the wagon, too. A project I've been working on has been seriously stressful. I know that's not an excuse, but I feel like utter crap this morning physically. Mentally I feel like a veritable uber-girl, ready to take on the world because I did fionish the project!

                The message in all this?

There's still time left this year to NOT spend New Year's Eve on the couch crying into our cheesy doodle puffs!

                Let's go~

I hate to tell you all this, BUT......................... YOU ARE HUMAN! Forgive yourself. Do Not Beat Yourself UP!

Now, having said that..... Get back on the dang wagon. It's lonely up here on the wagon.

I love you guys! You will do better this week.

I am down to 201 this morning. I am getting so excited for Onederland, but scared as well because under 200 is usually where I completely blow it and struggle with the self-sabotage. That is not going to happen this time. I am going all the way this time and never going back to over 200.

                  HANG IN THERE EVERYONE!!

Hey everyone! Day 2 of antibiotics, and I feel heaps and heaps better already. Definitely not strong enough yet to exercise, but at least I can manage more than just resting on the couch all day! [Dishes: done. Crockpot Roast: cooking. Next hurdle: groceries when DH gets home].

Despite little to no exercise all week long, the scale was down 1lb this morning - I'm 147.5. 2.5lbs away from my MYR goal!

Thanks everyone for being so supportive.I've seen what a week of cheating can do to you!!!!My god.I know half of it is water weight and will come of quickly but wow.Talk about back tracking!!!!!!I'm starting to think perhaps I should change my goal?to 180?I don't know any advice?Again thanks everyone I really appreciated your comments this week and it has helped give me a new resolve.Actually I think I'll just stick to that goal and if I don't reach it at least I'm shooting high and will go higher than if I'm shooting low right?

This week is going to be hard core.Lots of water and I'm actually going to the gym that I have downstairs for free!!!You'd think I would have been utilized it but nooooo. An hour of walking everyday for this whole week, that is my goal.Wish me luck everyone. The cravings are going to be a killer but it'll be worth it
