  • Challenge: How'd we do Tuesday?

    YES!

    Today was a phenomenal day!

    B: nothing
    L: olives
    D: beef roast and cheese

    Exercise:
    Treadmill: 6.5 miles, incline 10, 2700 calories! WOOT!

    Water? You bet?

    Whining? Heck no!




    Come on, people!

      Tuesday was good for me also...in fact I have more and more good days the past few weeks
      Early A.M. HB egg w/ tsp mayo and cup of decaf tea w/cream
      B-2 fried eggs and bacon w/ 12 oz decaf coffe and creamL-chef salad-lettuce, 2 sl cuke, 2 wedge tomato, less than 1 oz ea of turkey, cheese, ham 1/2 HB egg
      D-4 oz Pork Chop w/ mayo and 1/2 cup mushrooms

      Dessert - Diet Rite jello w/ no carb whipped cream

      water: 100 oz
      Exercise: went to gym...40 min cardio and 1 hour of weights
      supps: lots

      I know things are going well because I am craving fats

        Tuesday

        Meals
        Breakfast, 2 slices turkey bacon, 1 oz swiss cheese
        Lunch, 3 oz tunafish w/ mayo
        Dinner, steak tips w/grilled onions, green beans

        Water: Im at 90 oz and will get another 32 in before nightfall

        Exercise: WATP 1 mile. I will get up to the 2 mile quickly.....promise

        Supps: done

        Cleo, I gotta say that menu doesn't seem like very much food you are eating there?

            OK, Cleo, we're all going to jump on you, now. You know that menu of yours was terrible! Now, be honest, what kind of example is that to set for the newbies who might be reading this thread? We tell everyone to eat THREE well balanced meals, a day, folks, so pay no attention to Cleo's menu -- it is not a good one! (See, Cleo, I know how to use that whip, too!) Still love you, though!

            Now, that I have that out of my system,

            B: Two 1 oz slices of ham, 3 scrambled eggs, decaf coffee w/cream, 1 Splenda
            L: Chef salad -- 2 cups mixed salad greens, 1 &1/2 oz each of ham and turkey, 2 oz Edam cheese, Carb Options ranch dressing, iced tea sweetened w/Stevia.
            D: One crisply fried chicken thigh, 1 cup brocolli, 4 slices sugar free bread&butter pickles
            Sn: 1 oz cheedar chips with 1 tsp sour cream

            Lots and lots of water

            Four 10 minute brisk walks during works break (1 in the morning, 1 afternoon, 1 before eating lunch, 1 after). One 15 minute walk. Had to cut last one short because of a doctor's appointment.

              Cleo and Loriv...Where's your veggies? Must eat yummy veggies! ;-D

              Yesterday was good...
              B - chicken breast & 1 cup mock potatoes
              L - 2 oz cheese & 1 oz beef steak (bad lunch day!!)
              D - 1 1/2 cups fried jicama w/3 tbsp mayo & 1/2 cup cucumber w/2 tbsp salad dressing
              SN - lots of pepperoni (probably 100+ grams)...that'll make me retain water!

              15 minutes stairmaster
              20 minutes weights

              Between 80 and 100 oz of water.

              Today will be good too...just got to exercise later as I didn't do it this morning...

                Yesterday was my first day in induction and I wasn't hungry so I didn't eat. I get flu pretty quickly. Don't worry--that's not my normal diet.

                  bufallo chicken dip

                  20 mins stationary bike, 20 mins watp tape

                  Man I have a hard time remembering exactly what I ate just the day before I've come to realize!

                    I had a good day yesterday:

                    B: 2 eggs scrambled with 1 oz cheese, decaf with cream and splenda
                    L: 2 cups lettuce, 2 or 3 T ranch dressing, 1 cup diced roast chicken
                    D: 8 oz salmon with butter and dill, 1 cup salad with 1 T ceasar dressing
                    S: 2 turkey weiners with 2 oz cheese melted on top

                    Cals: 1976, Net Carbs 19, 64% fat, 4% carbs, 27% protein

                    Water: 8 cups
                    Exercise: 30 minutes brisk walk

                        I did great yesterday. I ate all the right foods, almost fit for induction! I also started a very strict induction today! I will post all that for tomorrow's check in.

                        I drank all my water, 100 oz.

                        No licking anything, but maybe a little bit of whining. All is better now, though.

                        OH, and my biggie, I did exercise. It has been several weeks since I did and it felt so very good! I did my full thirty minutes!

                        1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
                        what the rungs mean to me:
                        rung 1 - more veggies
                        rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
                        rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                        rung 4 - berries, melon
                        rung 5 - wine -
                        rung 6 - beans, hummus
                        rung 7 - other fruits
                        rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                        rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                        Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                        (on to pre-maintenance)

                          OK- today I wasn't so good, my tummy hurts and I don't feel like eating anything that is good for me!!!!
                          B: 1/2 c chili
                          L: couple bites of taco salad- threw the rest out
                          D: some more chili
                          S: Jello cup
                          Water was bad bad bad, I should drink some but I have been drinking diet ginger ale today... Also no exercise... feeling yucky sux

                            Well, I didn't do so great today. I didn't bring anything to work so I was starving and ate junk I knew I shouldn't of. TOmorrow will be better. I hope.

                              I'm staying on extended induction for a while longer.

                              I did great on my eating and....hold your breath....EXERCISED!
                              I got the RIU tape. whooo hoooo

                              now to figure out how to get the challenge on my siggy
