    it's wednesday!!! :joy

well, don't know if i should be dancing yet! we'll see.

    ca:44.5
    cw:39

nope, no dancing - same as last week (last week's abdomen reading was a mistake). i'm getting annoyed because i do so many crunches every night and i'm really slow at losing inches. it's starting to bother me a lot.

      Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

      same on waist... 35"
      abdomen, down a 1/4"... 38.5"

easy: honey, are you doing cardio too? I know, :sympathy this waistline-shrinking thing is extremely annoying, but I assume it will probably take a while to get where I want to be,.... so hey look at it like this -- a steady tap will eventually break the rock.

No change for me this week. I've had to stop the treadmill again for a week, got more work done on my leg tattoo. No sweating allowed! Plus it would hurt! lol! :yikes

you are one of the nicest people i've seen on this board...you are so helpful!

i walk around 2 miles a day going to class and back. which will stop tomorrow, because i have finals tomorrow :raving (well i guess today, since it's technically thursday) :confused

after that it will maybe be like 3/4 of a mile going to and from work every day, so i may have to go a long way or something.

i like to think all that walking helps - do you think that i need to add more or something else? i don't really know how much more i can do. i am already gone so much (although being out of class for a month will help a bit).

              Hi Easy! :hug

Girl, no change for me either -- do you think we set the bar too high? (the Labor Day goal) maybe we can kid of 'soften' it next go -round.

but hey -- the GOOD thing is... regardless to the loss (or not) of inches every week.... look at the commitment you are satisfying by sticking to this WOE, and exercising!!! That, in itself, is something to be extremely proud of! :joy :joy

I don't know if there has been a change in my inches because my tape measure broke and my husband threw it away! So, until I get a new one, I won't be able to measure myself.

I would like to join the challenge too. Waist 38 Ab: 45 (ewwww..my worst area).I found a really hard ab exercise that works out everything:
                    1. lay flat on the floor with your feet extended fully infront of you.
                    2. Draw each letter of the alphabet with your legs, keeping your knees together as you do it and your back and butt on the floor. Keep your arms on your sides, palms down.
3.Do each letter for a 10 second count (so rather slowly), bringing your legs to the floor between letters (keep them fully extended, never bent).
While doing this, keep your belly button in, like if you are sucking your tummy to touch your spine.

I'm going to do each of the letters every day plus 100 crunches, too!
                    Trying yet again!

                    Restart date: 1/7/08

Well, I fell off the wagon big time, so I am restarting induction today. :sadblinky
I am restarting my treadmill routine and I am going to quit smoking as well. No more being bad for me!! I am bloated and tired and I have indigestion. It's amazing how eating bad can make you feel like crap! Thank god my measurements didn't change, but they didn't go down either. So there isn't much time before labor day, but here's hoping we all make our goals by then!

Oh, and doing the letters sounds tough! I'll give it a try!

Hello all, I'm just checkin' in!

                          No change AGAIN! :raving

I know I wasn't doing much for two weeks, but it still sucks. Good news is that I didn't gain any weight during my two weeks of not eating well. A little water weight but that is gone now. So, that's it, no change to report, but I'm still trying.

Well some time back when I joined the challenge I had good intentions, but to many things going on and I have not kept up as I should, not to mention that I never got my measurements posted. So I am dropping this challenge for now and will have to take it up again another time. I am not giving up on this tummy I have, but right now just getting in some exercise is good for me.

Is it to late to join? Is there a deadline? Anything I should know? Besides to post my measurements? Is there a minimum requirement?

Well, this one closes on Labor Day, but I'm game to keep it going after that. The challenge is to lose 5-7 inches off of your belly/waist area by Labor Day. Our check in day is Wed. I don't know if anyone else wants to, but I wouldn't mind a new date after that to keep me motivated. Maybe Halloween or something? What do ya'll think? And I think I'm going to challenge myself to not step on the scale everyday too! Blasted thing, it calls to me every morning. Time to hide it in the closet!
