  • Mid-Year Resolution, December 26-31

I see no one has posted a new thread for this week so here I am.

How did your week go? Did you manage to stick to plan? If you decided to 'cheat' was it planned? Did you stay in control? Are you back on plan now?
What would you do different? What did you do that helped?

Did you know this is our final week?? I think the results after everyone checks in will be at the end of the original thread. Unless someone thinks different. Let me know.

Hope to hear from you all!

I am glad to hear from you Woman!! You can do this. You know you can. Okay...so you dived in...I won't hassle you about it...you made the choice and it is a done deal. But today is a new day and you can make the right choices so that you become a healthier, happier person because you are worth it!

I am sure there will be a ton of new challenges in the New Year!!! If not you can always start one.

Reporting in with a surprising 2 pounds lost this week!!! I stayed on plan through our 2
Christmases. The only thing I wasn't sure of that I ate anyway was some sausage...you know...salami..summer sausage...the kind you eat with ritz crackers and cheese. Not sure if that is legal or not...but I know the other stuff wasn't so I ate a bit of that. Hope everyone else is doing well. I am sure this will be my last lost before check in as it seems I lose on Wednesdays...LOL....the day before my weigh ins.

            Re: Mid-Year Resolution, December 26-31

I weighted-in this morning and I'm posting to report a 1 pound loss. Just what I needed to get to goal! I can't believe it. I made it to goal! Boy, it was tough to lose 35 pds in 3 1/2 months, but I did!!!!. The planning and cooking, more planning and cooking have surely paid off. I'm so glad that I stuck to it during all of the holidays. I must say that setting a small goal and keeping it on the forefront is what really helped me stick to the plan. I also had to learn to be patient because weightloss is not a fast process. Now, I have to think of my next goal! I still can't believe it. Thank you everyone, specially my sister, for getting me started.

Hope to see some of you in another challenge.

Hey Tonibaby, I think there's something that you have for me!!!

It does feel great to get to goal Elsie. I'm sure it also feels great to be 9 pounds under goal. That is awesome! Keep up the good work! You're more than half-way there!!!

I'm so proud of you guys and I can't tell you that enough. My shining stars are here! You make me smile. I am so excited for you, happy you stayed in and am so thankful for you sticking with it! Elsie has proven herself as a motivator and as a leader, and I knew she could do it (even if she gave me a hard time)...

                  Incidentally, you raise parrots?!

I love you guys! Way to go on the whole succes/sticking with it. You don't know how much I love each and every one of you (albeit fully legally).

The next challenge I'm hosting will be at our sisterboard to ADBB (same owner, also a low-carb board with Atkins) http://www.lowcarbbulletinboard.com/...read.php?t=936.

It's precisely like this one, but starts January 1st! I hope you'll come check it out! Or if you guys decide to stay here and continue the tradition, that's great, too!

But I mean it when I say I'm uber-proud of you, and we'll be keeping on come January 1st!
