Another successful day. I went out for mexican last night with no temptations (since I was alone I just told them no chips or tortillas or sopapillas with honey). I had a wedge of lemon in my water and it didn't even taste like water, all I could taste was the lemon. Had some coffee this morning (day 5) and it wasn't so bad w/o the sweetener.

Pammie- Nope, not eating the toothpaste. I just didn't want to encourage my sweet tooth with that nice minty flavor (especially since the two best combined flavors in the entire world are mint and chocolate mmmmmm). I'll be ok on this WOE until someone brings home the mint chocolate chip ice cream. There will be no truer test of my conviction.

Whoops! I caved in today. :sadblinky

I let stress get the better of me and I had 1 serving of low-carb chocolate. At least it was only 1 and not more.

        Day 4:

Was so stressed out at work... ALMOST caved in... Had bad cravings for chocolate. :raving

But the good news is: I DID NOT CAVE IN! :yes

Another no sweetener day, no sweet day.

Pammie: You go, girl! Before you know it, sweeteners will no longer control you. You will be controlling it! You can do it! :hug

well, I did it! caved in to another cup of coffee and added half a packet of sweetener :anger

that late afternoon coffee is really my toughest time!! But like I said, I am improving, I don't let it lead to cravings, and I stay in control of the amount...still, I wish I could go without totallY!

ok, also, some people have not checked in, or I have missed them somehow. so can you give the chart a look and let me know if I am missing something, thanks

*sigh* Another really stressful day at work... I actually broke down and cried. It's a miserable day. :sadblinky

I caved in to Atkins Peanut Butter Cups... :no

However, after taking the Peanut Butter Cups, I do feel less miserable.

I guess I have not gotten rid of my sugar addiction yet... What am I going to do?

16 days sugar and sweetener free, and I have not gotten rid of my sweet tooth... :sadblinky :no

hey woofy, stress is a hard one. It leads even the best of us to binges, so I think you should be congratulated yourself that you stopped at just the peanut butter cup!! that is progress!!!

and I do hope things get better for you in the future :hug

another successful day---but definitely the hardest yet. i have a second job working in the church nursery and tonight we were definitely outnumbered and stressed. I went to my grandmothers afterwards and there on the counter was a pizza and a HUGE box of iced brownies. So I had two slices of toppings and no brownie. My grandmother unintentionally said the best thing "they not that good". That was enough for me to pass them up. And when I got home the house smelled like coffee (with cream and sugar). I stepped on the scale looking for encouragement and I found it. I may have finally broken my short stall. Even if the weights back tomorrow i can still say i didn't cheat today.

                        Day 6 -

Went to cousin's wedding. Had a diet coke, and a little bit of their wedding cake.

I don't feel too bad though. I consciously chose to have a little of the cake.

That feeling of control is good enough for me. :yes

Will be back to the wagon starting today.

Sorry but I've been gone since Thursday.

I drank a diet coke yesterday but otherwise, I'm still hanging in there, even if only by a thread!

I had a diet rite yesterday :no It was a pretty stressful day and I figured having the soda was better than what I really wanted (the cookies 'n cream ice cream in the freezer). Should be back on track today (although there is a direct relationship between my desire for something sweet and working in the nursery). It's a good thing I'm quitting soon.

Not very good news here. :sadblinky

I caved on Day 6 and ate more of my bf's cereal. On a good note, the cereal is gone now - he ate the rest of it.

I caved on Day 7. Actually it was a concious decision. My bf and I went out to eat and I had a steak (great), salad (great), pina colada (bad), and baked potato (bad). We were going to stop by Braums and get ice cream, but were too full after our dinner. TOM arrived late on day 7...Maybe that's why I couldn't resist my cravings. There's no excuses! I shouldn't have caved for any reason! :no

I didn't do too bad on Day 8, but I still deserve a devil. I had one packet of splenda with lime in my water (limeade).

I've already blown today too. I gave in and had coffee with 2 sweet n lows.

I'm not doing too well at this! I'm starting fresh tomorrow with no sweeteners and will eventually go two weeks without them, even if it takes me until the end of this year.
