I'm still here, just pressing on and through. I'm having a lot of cravings today. I'm not hungry, but I want to eat anyway. I WILL defeat the munchies!!

Yeah! Bluebelt! You did it! I stayed cheat free through another holiday too! I was tempted several times to have just one bite of 'something', but held out. I am not giving in this time!

I need this kind of challenge! I'm not counting my disasterous morning (had a few pieces of lowcarb peanutbutter fudge), but as of right now, I'm going to be eating clean! Tomorow, when I get through it, will be my first day with no cheating.

See, I'm already trying to look positively towards the future.

Welcome aboard! See--you got your mistake out of the way early and now you are committed to eating clean! The only way to make this work is a clean induction! You can do it!

I will be winding this long-running thread down and will start a fresh new one on January 1, 2008.

Welcome aboard! Prayers coming your way! The power of prayer is awesome! The first few days are the hardest, but Dr. Atkins gave us lots of yummy foods to get us through the first 14 days. Eat plenty of fat.

I'm getting ready to bite the bullet and go on 14 days free of yeast-causing foods. I had surgery and too many antibiotics, so I have yeast overgrowth--again! It took me a year to get over the last one, so I'll be in withdrawls along with you.

                          Sunny!

Where is everybody??? We're getting ready to go into a new year! Let's go into it with style! After going 45 days without cheating and making it through Christmas with nary a bite off plan, I got really bad news at my doctors appointment on the 26th, and I ate crap two nights running, so I'm back at day 3 cheat free. I didn't hurt anyone but me by eating crap. Nothing at all was better by eating crap!

I will be starting my exercise program back up tomorrow and my yeast-free diet on January 2. My New Year's Day meal has cheese and pickled foods--both no-nos with yeast overgrowth.

Please remember--this thread/challenge will self-destruct at midnight December 31, 2007, and a new challenge will be launched on January 1, 2008!

                            Sunny!

That's okay about falling off for two weeks, as long as you get back on. I'm glad to hear you thought it was awful! Keep that in mind next time! Don't let that keep you away from the challenge. When you feel like falling off, come here and post instead. We'll talk you through it.

I can't really tell how much I have lost, because I have been having medical treatments where they pump me full of steroids, and I blow up like a balloon. My weight has been all over the place since I had surgery in October. Everything that could go wrong did and it ain't over yet! I started back on my exercise program AGAIN today, and I know that will help. I also have another yeast overgrowth due to extended antibiotic treatments, so on Wednesday, I go on 14 days of the yeast-free diet. I'm waiting until Wednesday because my New Year's Day food contains cheese, pickles and some processed meats. Can't have any of that for 14 days at least.

                                Sunny!
