    I should check in too. I'm actually on my 16th day of induction (scared to move on). I've decided to weigh on Saturday morning and move to the veggie rung.

    And...... it's my 16th cheat free day! 84 to go until I reach 100!

      Hi all!

      Well, I think I must have cheated and re-joined this thread more times than anyone and I did it again and I'm back. I got to day 25 and then have been on and off since then.

      BUT I'm back, wanting to reach that elusive 169 so here I am day 1.

      How is it going with everyone else?

        I'm going to toot my own horn here again... I weighed today after 16 days on induction..... and I've lost 15 pounds!!

        It's really got me inspired to keep moving toward those 100 cheat free days!

                I know what you mean. Weekends are bad for me too.... I've been depressed and bored on the weekends and that's not good for me. I've been cooking things for a couple days ahead... chicken to put on salads, etc. It helps to have something I can grab and not have to stand there and talk myself into cooking.

                    It's day 20 and I'm amazing myself. I honestly have never stuck with a diet for a week, and tomorrow it will be THREE weeks! There's a little piece of chocolate in my desk at work and today I thought about it, but didn't eat it. (Though I was tempted.) But I remembered my 100 day goal and didn't touch it. Actually I'm liking leaving it there to prove I'm stronger than that piece of chocolate is!

                      Yay Dream and Lisa Rose! You're both doing sooo great!

                      An old diet trick that I used to do was deliberately have a very small piece of chocolate in the house - it was kind of reassuring it was there and then I didn't need to go near it. The problems only seemed to happen when I had a lot and at that and some was still left. I seemed to like a bit left so I didn't have to go and buy loads, if you see what I mean. Sounds a bit crazy. But I have heard of smokers doing this with just one cigarette. They see how old it can get You're nearly a quarter to your 100 days!

                              Well this is a hot topic, and open to controversy! I personally think each person has to decide what they will consider a cheat beforehand I was overly strict at the start - if I accidently went 1g carbs over my target then I saw it as a cheat even if all the foods had been legal. That led to cheating a few times by mistake and then going off plan in a typical act of pointless defiance (i.e. I've cheated now so I might as well have a cake anyway ). So it is best for me to see a cheat as something totally illegal or a large amount of carbs over the limit - say 10g or so.

                              That is just what works for me. BUT I did learn my lesson though, I tend to plan my foods on fitday before I eat them now, but have that 10g leeway for emergencies - such as trying to get in more fibre when I was having stomach probs as happened yesterday.

                                I'm considering it a cheat if I eat anything that's not on the induction list (or my 5 extra net veggie carbs for the veggie rung.) Anything I do that's intentionally not by the book... to me that's a cheat.

                                I agree with Baarb there has to be a little leeway though. If I'm eating legal and end up a carb or two over, I don't think that's a cheat. That means do a little better planning. To me a cheat is intentionally eating something that's not on my legal list or eating a lot more than I should.

                                Hey Baarb... I'm with you on planning ahead too. I'm working a day ahead on fitday all the time to plan what I'm going to eat and make sure I get my percentages down.
