  • 2-week NO WEIGH Challenge

    Hi everyone,

    Since I started Atkins on 8/6 and joined this bulletin board, I've been obsessed with weighing myself and updating my ticker! I need to stop....soooo, I'm not weighing myself for 2 weeks. I've never been in a challenge OR started one, but the scale has been locked away and I'm asking for someone to join me! Starting tomorrow, 8/25, (since I already weighed myself about 5x today), I will not weigh myself for 2 weeks, until September 8.

    Start of challenge: 276
    End of challenge: ???

    JOIN ME PLEASE!!!

    Hi am starting this challenge today. I will not weigh again until Oct. 6. Any one who wants to join me feel free. I could use the company, lol. The scale has taken way to much control of me. Every time I pee at home which is alot I take my clothes and step on the scale... Pretty bad I know. I know I'm addicted to the scale. I'm feeling anxiety saying goodbye for 2 wks, but here goes.

      I will gladly join you. I have a problem with weighing myself too! I hate to admit it ,but in the past, if I weighed myself in a weeks time, and didn't like the results, I would go nuts, and usually cheat. So I have to be careful, about weighing myself. I last weighed myself this morning, so it's best I don't do it again for at least another 2 weeks. 272/265.5/175

          Count me in. So the next day we can weigh is October 6? I will do my best. I have to say, I am an addict as well. Maybe I will have my husband hide it and not tell me where it is.

            welcome kislandmom! Because we started on Sept. 22 our weigh day will be oct. 6. It is a good idea to have someone hide your scale because it is to easy to keep weighing if you know where it is. Especially if you are an addict like me, lol

              Thank goodness I can't get to my scale. I have been thinking about it all day! Hopefully it gets better with days passed.

                Okay, everyone HIDE YOUR SCALE. I've got the same pee-weigh, pee-weigh, pee-weigh, problem as Jerrica! I'm joining in too! My next weigh in date will be Monday, Oct. 9th. Good luck everyone! Finally, we'll feel sane again.

                    Thanks pru. I will make it because I am not going in the attic to get my scale. My daughter put it up for me and she will have to get it down. I have those tiny fold down stairs not quite brave enough to climb them yet, lol.

                      Okay guys confession time I had my daughter get my scale for me and I weighed. The great news is I lost 4 lbs. I think just about everyone has joined the 2 wk no weigh challenge coming up in Oct.
