    4:20 is the time you're supposed to smoke pot or something...I'm not technically a stoner so I can't answer the question with complete accuracy.

        Sorry I haven't been posting as much as usual.. haven't been keeping up with my siggy either... I am doing well, still thinking of thanksgiving and what to do for it... I know I am probably putting myself in harms way- I am cooking a caramel pie and chocolate covered pretzels for Thanksgiving...we'll see what pans out... but right now, I am just chuggin along with my water and low carb foods. We went yesterday and got some meats and good stuff from the grocery... oh, and I am still making the low carb stuffing to take but with the veggie sausage...

        Well, hope everyone had a great weekend! I am off to do some more laundry and stuff

          Ughh . . . I'm so glad thanksgiving is over here (Canada). I'm not too worried about X-mas yet . . . it seems so far away. If I don't screw up I'll be on the third rung of OWL (depending on how things go of course). Yesterday I drank like a fish . . . today. . . not so much. Will still definately get in my 64oz, almost done that now. I guess it's still early, I'll try for at least 80.

            Hey everyone...happy monday to you all. the whole pot stuff went over my head I did not know there is a 420 either...but those days, well they are 20 yrs way back there...Don't think anyone had a time back then, it was all about staying stoned and high as a kite...but I missed that depth too, just hung out enough to look cool...1973 baby, those were the days!!! Now they make movies about it!

            Hang in there Shilo, you are doing great, rungs are cool, they are work and real life stuff which is wonderful it's harder than induction, and makes you stronger...

            Juli girl, you know a whole lot about a whole lot! You can spell too, pedal, not peddle..How in the world I did that I'll never know!!!

              I so forgot to weigh today and its my weigh in day... I have drank a bit and have also eaten breakfast... I may weigh *ahem* after I go to the bathroom and just see if I wanna count that or not... lol if I don't I will just weigh in tomorrow instead...

              In all my atkins time I have never tried to go up the rungs... Jess- what rung are you on or do you do induction?

                    Shilo - fantastic work with your water!! I am still struggling in this department *sighs* Im just trying not too beat myself up over it too much. Minimum I am getting in is 34oz so its better than nothing right?

                    The devil machine hates me! after a 45 minute work out, I think it took another 20 minutes for my rolls to stop rolling and the pain.... argggh! I'm probably exaggerating a little - but right now, I am only using the cross trainer every second day, because my legs scream at me!

                        I have been on extended induction the whole time. I did go up two rungs, a little.
                        I added some veggies. Now I have, just for the holidays added diary, and that's only the whipping cream. But I have only used it once.
                        I over heard about how some do a modified version and I really liked that.
                        Basically is stay at 25carbs, but switch something out to add in the cream or extra cheese as in cheese cake.
                        It works for me...I have purposefully avoided desserts and sweet things so as not to get back into that habit...We made pumpkin cheese cake Sunday. I had 3 teaspoons while standing there...Last night, I just didn't eat it...checking my keto sticks to make sure I stay in ketosis...I also had whipped cream once, this past Sat. night I was just way over it all and decided to give myself a legal treat.
                        I have so much weight to loose that I have not wanted to go up rungs. I like it very simple, and after March 18th, I will be moving right into that whole phase of the program because I will want to begin to truly deal with things...until then, I hope to stay very happy here in a modified 25gm a day carb position.

                          Well, you're doin fab Jess! and After Thanksgiving I plan on dropping some cheese and stuff too... but till then I gotta be strong somehow and if a little extra cream and cheese keeps me here thats ok with me!(for now!)

                            Jess, I'm sticking at right around 25-30 carbs a day, and I'm on rung 3. I'm finding it almost impossible to eat any more grams higher than that unless I stuffed myself. I eat until full...maybe it's because I have favorite veggies that I like to eat often, that really aren't high carb? I usually eat salad, green peppers, green beans, spaghetti squash, celery, and I had turnips a couple times. I'm a pretty simple gal, and even if I were complex, my grocery store produce dept. isn't! I didn't really add any more servings of dairy on rung 2, just different types. Well, no I did increase my heavy cream, so I could have some chocolate mousse during TOM. YUMMY!!!

                            I feel better expanding my food categories...I don't feel so pressured to eat at a certain time (due to work schedules, etc.) because now I know more food options are available. And I have continued to lose weight on OWL--with the exception of my TOM week, it's been at a steadier pace than induction.

                              Well, I dunno what to do .

                              I just finished day 4 of my clean induction restart, still not in ketosis though.

                              I lost a couple lbs, and now I'm less than ten lbs to goal. My calories have been on the low side for the last 4 days, so I'd like to bring them up. My carbs are hovering just under 20g. My Veggies aroun 2 - 2 1/2 cups. I'm under all my limits for cream, sweeteners, & cheese.

                              I want to move into Owl now, because I don't have that much more to lose, but is 4 days of clean induction enough?? Before this I did a week of clean induction - slipped up - did four more days, and slipped up again (bad this time). I want to start adding different foods to my diet (i.e. start clibing rungs) but don't want to do it wrong . . .

                              Any thoughts?? I trust you guys!!

                                Shilo - less than 10 pounds to goal!!! WTG!!! and Congrats!!!

                                I'm not up there in regards to OWL, but I believe that from what I have read, that if you only have less than 10 pounds to reach your goal, you should definitely be looking at starting the rungs. From what I hear, its when all the fun starts too!

                                Maybe you might want to post in the OWL forum too, to get some more opinions? A kindly Jess, pointed me over to that direction when I started making noises about Christmas plans - thanks Jess!

                                Yesterday was a rest day for me - so nothing to report on the exercise. I got in a nice 8 hours sleep - so I am raring to go today.

                                Firstly though, I have the school assembly where my eldest is singing a song, so I better getter moving.
