      OK... I'm trying to get back on board and check in again everyday. I've been sneaking in little things that I shouldn't everyday and that has to stop now. So, this morning I had Turkey sausage and scrambled eggs. My goal is to fill up on the legal foods as much as I can. I'm never afraid to eat the legal foods. Especially when I feel like I'm starting to cheat in any way.

      Joy - I just read your plans for today and I'm so impressed... wow

      Juli - Where have I been? You're taking a kickboxing class, how fun! Go Juli! I agree with Silly, you should be able to keep your carbs at 30 and still lose weight with no problems. I'm glad to see you're trying that this week.

      Silly - Just a chicken breast all day? OK well, I guess you already know what to do today. You’ll go up in your food and I’ll go down with the sneaky little foods that I’ve been adding… OK.

        Well here I go... things I cleaned up today so far are ...
        -40 min on the treadmill (brisk walking)
        -20 min of my windsor video
        -32 oz of water (I know I know hopefully I can get the rest down before bed)
        -Having tacos again for dinner so that should get me to 20 carbs today

        I don't know what's wrong with me I'm scared to up my carbs because I also like you Juli don't want to stop the rate of weight loss I'm on, but also I don't know about you Silly but i'm just not that hungry since I started my extened induction and I was only going to do that for an extra 2 weeks after induction. So i'm not intaking what I should be. Well I'm on board for this challange. So I'll figure out later when I should move to the next rung. Oh and Joy that my little prince right after that pic is when I started atkins for the first time.

          Okay, I stopped by mom's house to hang up a temperature gauge on the tree outside her living room window and had the best soup ever. I was really nervous about it because, well, mom usually makes soup with EVERYTHING in it. Today she just made meatball soup with meatballs w/out filler, beef broth, onions, and salsa. That's it. Oh, man it was good and so legal!

          Tonight I'll be hitting the treadmill while watching Biggest Loser Finale.

            OOOOOOOOH I am SO excited to see the BIggest Loser Finale! I am addicted to that show as much as I'm addicted to ADBB...sorry, that really has nothing to do with "cleaning it up" but that show is so inspiring and dumbfounding at the same time...!

              Off the topic.....Oh, and wasn't that a great BL show last night? I was like "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE FINALE IS NEXT WEEK??" I seriously need to glue a calender to my head.

                Thanks for asking about how we are doing, Lisa. I am doing great! I am eating correct. I am exercising and drinking my water and seeing great results.

                In 3 days of working my WOE correctly, I have shed 3 1/2 pounds, probably water. But now I am not slooshing when I walk as much!!!

                I am so glad I re-commited myself to the Atkins WOEing. Hard to think how much I could have weighed at the NEW YEAR! Don't even want to go there.

                  Yes--I was bummed about it not being the finale, but still happy with a 2hour episode! Ohhhh who do you think will win? I hope it's not Heather...she really annoys me! I hope Erik wins...he's my favorite.

                  OK I'm doing well today...last night I went to class, got 2 miles for the triathalon, 1.5 miles on the bike (got there late!) and I drank almost a gallon of water...

                  Today my goal is to do 3 miles after school, ab workout, drink a gallon of water, and eat 30g carbs today.

                    Woo hooo! Go, Becky Sue!!! Shedding 3 1/2 pounds is so good!!! Now that's the way to clean it up! Hey, I want to go shopping too. Maybe after my last final.





                    Woo hoo, Juli..look at you go with those miles. Care to spare a few for my goal?? lol...j/k...I need to get back on that horse and ride the miles. oye!

                    Speaking of BL...yep, I'm for Eric,too. Kai use to annoy the heck out of me until they started showing Heather mouthing off. But, she's got valid points of dealing with medical issues. I dunno, I usually vote for the underdog and I think Eric will surprise the heck out so many people while setting the bar high for the future BL contestants. Definetely great inspriations there with that guy.

                      I'm here and eating well....although...I did have coffee this morning. BUT I totally controlled my sweetner and cream in it.

                      Work interfered with my workout today at lunch. I'll just have to FOCUS and get it done this evening, NO excuses.

                      Becky, WOOHOO on the 3 1/2 lbs. Water or Fat? Who cares as long as its not on you anymore. AND water DOES take up space in the form of bloat.

                      Lisa, keep us on our toes girlfriend!

                          My goals for "cleaning it up" today:

                          1. NO CHEATING ON EATING - so far, so good! Here's what I've had so far today:
                          Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs
                          Lunch: Grilled chicken breast on 1 cup of leaf lettuce salad with grated cheese and cucumber, small amount of caesar dressing
                          Snack: 4 pieces of celery
                          Not sure about dinner yet, as I'm doing it all "on the fly" today. Roast beef sounds good, though! with a small side salad maybe.

                          2. Push my water drinking up to 100oz. So far, I am halfway through. I'm on my 3rd full 20oz. bottle, and have had nothing else to drink but water today.

                          3. Make shopping list for more induction friendly foods and find some new recipes to try online. - DONE... well, I have the list just haven't bought it all yet.

                          4. Spend at least an hour at the gym tonight after work - 40 minutes cardio and 20 minutes weight training.... already called Mike and told him not to go without me tonight. Also, must remember to pick up AA Batteries for my elliptical at home and get the screws on it tightened so I can begin to use it for at least 20 minutes in the morning before work and at night before bed!

                          5. Take ALL THREE of my Atkins brand Basic3 vitamins for the day. Usually I end up forgetting and only take one.

                          6. Re-Read the induction chapters of DANDR - doing that now!

                          7. Spend a generous amount of time on the ADBB making sure I'm fully remotivated and committed to this WOL for good this time! I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

                            YAY MONI! Those are all good goals to work toward.

                            My eating was ON today. My water...ON today. Coffee...I was back on it with a vengeance. I did good in that I limited myself to 3 packets of sweetner with the 3 mugs of it I had today. I just Don't stop at one cup. I typed can't stop at one cup and erased that because the truth is, I've quit carbs, I've quit cigarettes, and the truth is I CAN stop at one cup, heck I CAN stop before I have even the first cup. If I continue with the coffee (because of my addictive tendencies...I do not stop at one cup, at 2 tbspns of cream/day, at 3 sweetners/day) all I'm going to have is indigestion, weight gain and a bunch of lame *** EXCUSES!

                            *deep breath*

                            The fat girl in me, the one who is a COMPLETE junkie, keeps putting things in my head. There are some I've given into....let's see today that was:
                            1) Just 2 cups (16 ounces) of coffee with ONLY one sweetner and two tbspns of cream won't hurt...and that's all I'll have. (yeah...right...I didn't even make it out of my home town) Coffee is a diuretic, it'll help you LOSE some of the water weight.
                            2) When I stopped for gas (and had already drank all the coffee I took with me...because I GUZZLE it) I marched my hiney in and rationalized it with "I'll have decaf". Let me tell you guys...this coffee SUCKED and I told myself I'd pour it out...but...I drank it.
                            3) When things didn't go right at work today, the fat chick in me rationalized that I was just "too drained" to go exercise and I had "too much work to do" and should work thru lunch.
                            4) At 4PM she said, "Well, Joy, you've already blown it with the coffee today, might as well have some more. You've had a bad day, this will pick you up." Blah. Blah. Blah. I listened. One more mug of coffee (16 ounces)
                            5) At 5ish she said, "you have a lot of work to do, you need to stay late and get it done. You'll have to skip tonights exercise"

                            At that point, I said ENOUGH JOY, GET A GRIP! I said I need to exercise BECAUSE of the stress, I'll feel BETTER if I go do it.

                            There, it's out there. It's in the open.

                              Joy I'm so glad you posted this.... I can have excuses or I can have results, I can't have both! I definately needed to hear that right now...it seems he|| has frozen over at my night job tonight and I'm gonna be out of here about 10pm!! That NEVER happens! And so of course, in reaction, I've been sitting here telling myself all the reasons I should just skip the gym and go home and take care of some things at the apartment instead.... NOT!
                              I promised Mike we'd hit the gym and I need to stick with that.... that's the only way results will happen!! NO EXCUSES!!!! Although I must admit... I'm right there with ya on the coffee... I've had 3 cups in the past hour I think just to try and warm up. Making a mental note - MUST get that hot green tea tonight so I'll have something tomorrow warm and legal!!!! It's only 17 degrees here right now! YIKES!!!!!!!!
