Okay, the stupid coffee grinds are poured out in the trash and have vinegar poured on them.

While I was getting all the coffee out of the cupboard I found that I have some Lipton decaf green tea bags in there. Cool.

Hi everyone, i have sorta been hiding, as getting back to work has been stress within itself, no that's just not true, i just haven't wanted to be there so i have been using my feeling sorry for myself as a reason not drinking my water, and joy, i also am readdicted to coffee as well as diet coke with lime and haven't been to the gym either. So yesterday, i was flipping through the VS and found this awesome looking, in my opinon sexy dress and more importantly BOOTS (i am a sucker for boots). These lace up the back how cool is that. so i've decided that outfit will be my 50 lb loss reward, and because its a winter outfit lol i will need to reach 50 lbs before it starts getting warm if i want to wear it.

i am glad to see everyone who is struggling grasping hold and hanging on and reevaluating so they can feel strong again. I am doing the same thing and will concentrate more on it this weekens, so that by Monday i am back completely strong in what my motivations, understandings and determinations are.

Hope everyone has a happy Friday.

Sher, very cool that you've found something to work towards! What are you going to do today to clean it up?

ME? Today I have NO coffee. Water, exercise and good food. DH wants to go to Outback for dinner tonight. My struggle is going to be that he is going to order a blooming onion. I have to say no. I think I'll ask them to bring my salad when they bring the onion. OR I may tell DH to have them bring the onion with his meal. I don't want to deprive him because of my lack of self control...but there it is.

Yeah i needed to find something, with the amount i have to lose, sometimes it just seems so far away so i am breaking it up a little more and i want that outfit lol. I have the legs for it lol.

Lordy, the cheesy fries are my downfall at Outback and the ribs... i will be thinking you some strength tonight. I agree that it wouldn't be fair to deprive your DH, i think that is wonderful of you to feel that way, many people would thinking badly of him for wanting to enjoy something he likes because of their own lack of self control. Kudos to you Joy.

As for today, i am drinking 128 oz of water and sticking to plan, coming home tonight and getting my apartment in gear for company, and cleaning out my poor fishes bowls lol.

            Heres to a great Friday.

              Hey guys...
Yesterday I did pretty well...didn't get all of my 30g carbs in, but I tried my best LOL. I DID however, really push myself to exercise...I was very very tired yesterday, but I had told myself I was going to workout at 3:30 after school, do some running. Well my last class of the day rolls around, and I talk to the teacher about these reindeer antlers the students need for the concert...she said she's making them after school so I volunteered to help. So I get in there...I've made 2 of them by 3:30...but I stuck around, finished the antlers with her, by the time we were done it was 4pm. LUCKILY, I put on my workout clothes before I went to make the reindeer antlers...so even though I REALLY didn't want to (for once! Usually I love exercising) I went to the fitness center...Bobbie was thinking the same thing...she saw me look at the clock and said, with a heavy sigh...I'll see you in the fitness center?

So I did 2 miles...I had planned on doing 3, but I didn't want to be driving home in the dark. But here's the real cool thing--I had a conversation with another co-worker(though it was very labored and my voice sounded all jagged because I was running...oh and I was SWEATING RIVERS) through the WHOLE workout! A week ago I would not have been able to do this...but I actually was able to talk while I was running...I couldn't believe it!

OK so that's my smashing news...I am down another pound this week, but I feel very waterlogged, so I will re-weigh tomorrow and see if I can ditch any of it.

                  Round of hugs!!

Joy...good for you ditching the coffee and planning ahead with Outback. I think I'd have to put duct tape over my mouth while the other person was eating the bloomin' onion. oye! lol. Yea for finding the decafe. OOOOhhh....I have to tell you what I found at the store that I probably shouldn't but because of the circumstances of having something for "cold nights" you might like it. It's International Coffees Decafe and Surgar Free Moca or the French Vanilla.

Monique.....good planning!!! I know you can do it!!!

abstract....yea for getting your water in. woo hooo!

Woo hoo, Juli! Exercise while chatting and ditching a pound! Nice!! Who says women can't mulitask?? lol...

                  As for me...

I'm keeping my cleaning up goal for me this week, and have lost 5 of the 8 pounds that I packed on from PMS/TOM. Sometimes it just sucks when PMS/TOM comes the same time as finals do.

In any case my goals for day....

                  1. pick up 2 five gallon bottles of water from Calligon (sp)...done!
                  2. get in 100 oz of water...working on this one, 60oz of water
                  3. stay in my sweats all day....done!
                  4. clean the kitchen....procrastinating on that one
                  5. make up 2 dishes for the weekend...that will be after I clean the kitchen.

Okay, so there you go. My exercise??? It was shopping around Walmart and spending $200. I think my heart raced faster than running a 1/2 a mile when it rang up that amount. lol.

Lisa--that would give me a heart attack too!

My speed is really getting better, running wise. Yesterday, a kid sat on top of a $500 contrabass bar like it was his own personal chair and I have never run so fast in my life to get him off that thing. Talk about heart attacks...I am really glad it didn't break! Just imagine if it did...try telling your superintendant you'll have to replace that C Bar because a Kindergartener used it as his crash pad...

Sorry for not posting yesterday guys but I did keep it "Clean" all day yesterday and I went to the gym so when I got back I was too tired to even boot the comp so as of 5 pm today all I have to finish up is my water intake. Gosh I act like its such a chore. But other than that I'm so proud of myself control. Today Nana bought my son some Wendys nuggets before she droped him off, talk about temptation when I found one nugget in the bottom of the bag!! But all I did was crumple the bag nugget and all and tossed it in the waste basket. Whew that was a close call!

WTG Ms. toss that nugget quick!!!

Today I did 2 miles walking in place(WATP) Took two times, taking it alittle slower so not to hurt my neck again.

Today is day 5 and I got thru it is good shape.

Today I got a message from a classmate in OK city. My class is planning a class reunion for june 2007. So this is even more motivation to get the weight off and to look my very best. I am so happy to find more motivations to help steer me to goal.

Happy Low Carbing and to reaching our goals!!

Ryebread--that's what this is all about! Welcome aboard!!

Gosh I hope I don't forget anybody here....

Lisa, you have to let us know if you got the rest of that list done by the end of the day Congrats on being down....PMS and finals...I feel for you, that had to suck. I would have been a basket case.

Msideal--way to go for tossing the nugget, keep up that kind of mentality and you'll be slim in no time at all.

Becky--you're doing great. That's good that you're getting your WATP videos in. Make sure to protect your neck though. Of course, you know all this already. I'm proud of you for doing something though...I probably would have tried to use that as an excuse to do NOTHING as far as exercise. I'm the queen of excuses.

Julie--30-something grams is good. I really think you're going to be JUST FINE!

Okay, I had to come back and edit this. After I submitted it, I said, hmmm who did I miss???

Then I realized, I missed ME!

                              Clean all day today!
                              NO coffee
I ran 2 miles at lunch
I got over 80 ounces of water in--1 bottle less than I normally would have...but still plenty.
Dinner was a huge success. I asked DH if he would mind either asking the waitress to bring the onion with his dinner, or bring my salad at the same time as the onion. I went to the ladies room, and when I got back, he'd already ordered it and asked for it to be brought with his meal. I was so thankful that he did that, because when it came I had prime rib and shrimp to deal with...and I could have cared less about the stoooooopid onion. LOL

Hi everyone, ahhhhhhhhh Saturday, i can take my time and go through and write to everyone, so bear with me as i hope i get everyone.

Its sounds like everyone is doing great - wriggle dances for you all.

Msideal great job on the nugget. I think its great when someone becomes completely conscious of an old habit of just popping a remaining thing in their mouth, instead it becomes a monumental deal when you smash it smoosh it or pour something on it lol. I believe its a major right of passage in this lifestyle and rededicates us in a small way everytime we do so.

Wow lisa, congrats on losing that PMS water, you are doing so well and its so great to hear about it.

Becky Sue, Great motivation for your reunion next year.Walk in and knock 'em over!!! You can do it and i will enjoy watching you do so. I have a couple WATP tapes but never thought to really use them (much like ALL of the exercise tapes i have lol) i am actually trying to sell a lot of them now as they are mostly VHS and most are not even open. Yes, i confess, i am not only a carb junkie, but an infomercial junkie. Congrats on your motivation and determination.

Welcome Rye. way to make the decision to clean it all up. What better present can you give yourself.!!!

Joy - You have the BEST of DH's. I am so glad he is so supportive of your doing this and helping you in little ways like he did last night. Many times its the little ways that keep us strong to keep moving forward. What may seem like a little thing to him (i.e., having his onion with his dinner) becomes a major success to us getting through not having any. Congrats on accomplishing your goals for the day.

Juli, i just read this!!! You are my hero as that is one thing i cannot do, workout and talk at the same time. Which is why i don't go work out with friends lol because they all want to talk while doing so lol. Congrats on moving up to 30 grams of carbs also. You are doing so well and are an inspiration.

as for me, i didn't do my water yesterday like i was suppose too. A friend thought she was being nice and brought me a soda because i was out and stressed and my boss made me a huge mug of starbucks coffee (legal) when i was trying to get things together for a major hearing next week. I need to do something as i can go all day without drinking anything if i am addicted again. So i am at home now for the weekend and have thrown all my soda out and filled up my water bottles. So i am ready. Time to start my little doings to get it down and get myself craving it again.

I am also trying to get a myspace journal going, i like being able to create the whole thing with images and fun stuff. So i will keep my motivation up doing that as well as finishing my Christmas cards today and getting them out.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I hope everyone is going to do great today!
