    I would love to sign up on this challenge. My 25th wedding anniversary will be June 5, 2007 and I would love to be at 135 pounds by then. Sign me up.

    How often will we post our weigh ins on this forum or are we posting them?

          Sher...I feel for ya. TOM arrives when I start back to school...timing is just great, ain't it? ugh. Nevertheless...I'd say post your weight today. After all...lol...you'll see a wonderful decrease in 2 weeks Hey.... lol...for the chocolate. ((hugs)).

          Welcome, Dashly! Glad to have another friend joining in! Love it! We have a wedding to attend around the date. Looks like June is a great time for everyone!

          I'd say, Post your weight today! Let's stick to weighing in twice a month. It's a great start. Let's give ourselves a gift this Christmas by taking care of us before the day comes.


          Okay, so I'm up to 208. I'm trying to think postive here, so bare with me. lol.

          I may be up to 208, but I'm not up to 228.

          I may huff and puff through 45 minutes of Turbo Jam, but atleat I huff and pufff, and sweat.

          I may whine about falling off the wagon, but I get myself back on because I choose to take care of me.

          I may feel like crap one day, but look out, I'm gaining momentum in strength an determination and I'm taking you all with me .......


          Who's next.......Come on! I know we have a list of folks here on the challenge, I have a copy here on my computer. Let me go copy/paste it and give you all hugs......

              My starting weight is wrong on the list. It is my own fault, I had gone on a carb binge (back in the summer) and never updated my siggy. My starting weight for the challenge is 189. I also changed my goal for Memorial Day to 160.

              Today's weight was 188. So I am one pound down.

              Lisa, you are going to be ok. You have a lot of support here. Just start fresh today!

                    I've had a four lb loss since I first weighed on Wed. Really kicking myself for not weighing myself before induction! Grrrrrr! Making tons of yummy food and really enjoying this. I'm confident that we are all going to get to our Memorial Day goal or at least get very close.

                          Yes, next weigh in is January 4, 2007. Hopefully more people report weight loss today. Mine is ecactly the same because of my TOM. Next weigh in will be awesome, hopefully!

                            Sher-just keep drinking tons of water and you will see a huge loss at the next weigh in!

                            Sorry that I have been quiet today. Heck, haven't even updated my journal chat. However been busy groccery shopping(omg so busy!) and doing other shopping. Had to get my dds report card. She is doing GREAT! No problems! I always worry that she will be behind because she is bilingual and was very shy for a long time. However she is just fine. Schools here are much more difficult then in the USA so I was afraid I wouldn't be a good enough parent to help her with homework(esp in a language that isn't my original one and with a dh that works a lot of hours). This is really good for my self-esteem! She goes to a Catholic class and it was funny to get a report on "religious studies". LOL

                            I need to drink some more water! With all the running around I only have around 3 liters of water in. When I am home I drink a lot more. I really should get in the routine of keeping a bottle of water in the car.

                              Hi everyone! Just checking in cause I know today was the first weigh in. No good news to report I am up to 188. Its all good though! Just means a bigger loss for the next weigh in. Ive been really slacking on the exercise and usually when I get close to 180 I stall for a while anyway. Gonna get my behind in gear and get back to my daily exercising.

                                Christy-were you at 180lbs for a long period of time in your life? I have read that can make things more difficult to go down! Just keep on doing good, drinking water, and exercising when you can! Heck, most people gain like 5-10lbs in December! Even if you end up just maintaining this month that is wonderful!
