    Well Emma, I was a chicken *hit and didn't lift my top or show any scary white flesh... makes a difference... but I saw it. Pretty scary stuff! But, I guess we're always our own worse critic! huh?

          Okay, guys... I can't do Thanksgiving... I'm doing Dec 7th... when dd comes back from london... cuz she's the brains behind my brawn! (She did all the downloading stuff) Thinking though I'll take them (the pants) with me when I visit her in Oct... (that's 2 months!) do a progress pic and then the final one ... in Dec upon her return... a case of the traveling pants... like Jess only twice as big! Kinda fun! Anything for motivation right? lol! Now, I can't quit, slow down, make excuses, or any other silliness! It's onward ho! for me!

                    Way to go on your muffin butt, Liz!!! I agree with Jen -- that's one of those mini-muffins.

                    I went to the thrift store to pick up some muffin making pants. Here's what I got:
                    • DKNY jeans -- size 12
                    • Ralph Lauren jeans -- size 10 (they tend to run larger)
                    • Duckhead jeans -- size 16 (to wear now/soon -- might be a little big, though)

                    PLUS:
                    • Tommy Hilfiger pink turtleneck cableknit sweater
                    • Lord and Taylor brand green chenille (sp) sweater with fake furry collar
                    • Lord and Taylor silk long sleeved black ribed sweater
                    • Limited TOO jeans for my daugther
                    • Cute canvas purse with brown and black fake fur trim

                    All for $30.01!! I'm very happy with my bargains AND my new muffin jeans. I don't have my camera at home, but will take the photos next week, I promise.

                    The muffin top ad is funny.... you getting "cracked up" is even funnier, Silly.

                      I noticed it too Silly! Sooo funny! but I've gotten in the habit of ignoring all those ads... they're wasting their money on me! lol! should I say that louder?... maybe they'll hear me... THEY'RE WASTING THEIR MONEY ON ME!!!! I DON'T READ THOSE ADS...

                        I so want to join in on this challenge but how do we keep it going for three months? Will the challenge be open until the end or will you close it and have all current challengers post pics in a seperate thread and then revisit it after thanksgiving?

                        I'd hate to post and then come back to find the thread has vanished.

                        I'll have to pull out my smallest jeans and try squeezing them on--that might be indecent because I think I can't even get em past my knees. lol. Serious muffins are baking in this house!

                        I'll post a pic asap.

                            Oh Hi Disco and Adena, I missed your posts earlier... noooo not a little muffin... those pants do suck me in a little though! lol! And I kept my shirt down... covers up a multitude of sins. and scary white rolls of flesh... Thanks for the comps... though! Adena, those are some great bargains!!! makes me want to go shopping! Great job girl! Okay, I want see some muffin butts! lol! This is totally what I needed to motivate me for this next leg of the journey!                               Valid concerns Meena. Here's what I am thinking. At the finish line I will make a new thread and have everyone post their start pic (which should ALSO be posted here) along with their ending pic. I'll choose the winners via the finish line posts. But anyone participating must post their beginning pics in this thread. Anyone can join late. The winners will be the challengers with the loosest fitting outfit at the end of the challenge.
