oh just realized that i put my pants in a conspicuous place, and don't remember where i put them...OMG, seriously, that is soooo typical of me....i always think i'll remember where i put something and never do....now i have to go searching, but i'll wait till i'm closer to the challenge.Comment

I wore mine to football game on friday night... they were comfortable... was happy! lots of compliments...
kinda feel like a want to cover up sometimes... am embarrassed by people staring... wear long jackets but still lots of people notice and stare at me and say something... sat with a friend who also is losing wt... I said something to her and she was like "shhhh!" exactly how I feel! anyone else feeling that?

hopejoy I can completely relate, I am very proud of my loss and the way I look but I am not a "getting attention" kind of girl. If someone says something to me personnaly I am ok with it but when it's said where other people can hear it in public and then people look I get really embarrassed. I have seen shows where people change so much with their weight loss it effects their relationships with others and while I want to change a lot of things I don't want to lose who I am so thats a major part of it for me too ....... I'm still the same Heidi, just a smaller version.
I have been tempted a few times to put on my pants but I still have not touched them ............. I can't wait till the end of November!!!!!

I don't mind when my hubby or really close friends say something. It my coworkers that get me or others that work in the building. Some will just blurt out loudly in the hallway their surprise at my weight loss....it's very embarrasing for me, especially if there are a lot of students in the hallway. But like Heidi, I'm not an attention kind of gal. I'm not putting on my tight pants until the end of the challenge.

I was mostly house-bound for many years while I was fat, and now that I am back out there, people don't know how big I ever got. I am so uncomfortable when my friends diss fat people in front of me, because they don't know I used to be one of them. I've been tempted to say, "I was one of those fat people!" but so far have whimped out. Truly, I do know what people really used to think about me. Sad.
That's why I love my ADBB friends so much.

I haven't tried on my pants again...I've touched them lovingly a few times, and they hang in my closet, begging me to try them on. But there's no way I'm trying them on until Thanksgiving! I haven't been in 6/8 pants for too many years to remember. I'd take that, but I will settle for a size 10. I have big legs and am very large boned. I did have a pair of size 9's that I could wear about 12 years ago.Originally posted by julirama723

No way I'm trying mine on-Disco is just too darn scary!!
Canadian Thanksgiving is this weekend so I need to put them somewhere I can see them and maybe they'll keep me on the straight and narrow??

I have mine hanging where I can see them. Also, my two Christmas outfits. Actually, they are in my bedroom, where I can see them from bed. I'd probably do better by hanging them on the fridge and pantry door! I might do that!
I hope everyone is staying strong and trying hard! The holidays will come and then the New Year, and we all want to celebrate much thinner!
