    Short on words tonight, but still 100% legal. Not that I want to be! I did not have a good time at the hospital today. I hate that place.

      It's great to see everyone working so hard to succeed and focus. I stayed on plan all day yesterday, but gained 2 pounds--I assume from the steroids. Ankles and hands feel swollen, been drinking a lot of water today trying to get rid of it. Going to focus on what I can control, not on what I can't. Need to fix supper and exercise--will check in later!

        1. give up all cheese. I mean all !!! That is my staller, I know it, but I love the cheese.cheese free today
        2. continue to drink my gallon of water everyday.water is down
        3. cheat free for the durationcheck
        4. walk six times a week for at least a mile and a half.todays walk is in.

            Feel better Sunny! Despite all you've had to go through and all you're currently going through you still make the best of things and have come so incredibly far. I'm going to think twice before I complain next time...
            Guys, I didn't do too well today but tomorrow will be different!

            #1: Step up the exercise routine -
            * Cardio five to six times per week. At least three 60 min sessions. rest no less than 30.
            * Pilates Bum and Legs workout twice times per week. Billy Blanks Bootcamp (Don't laugh, it's fab!) twize per week.
            * Abs, hips and bum weights at gym three times per week.
            Almost didn't do anything because of the rain, too much work and the day running away from me but just finished doing a strength workout video. Not enough though.
            #2: Limit nuts to only one serving max per day.
            Had two servings because my computer was so slow it was driving me crazy and as I was waiting for something to save I grabbed the sunflower seeds and ate a serving without even thinking.
            #3: No snacking after dinner.
            Because I felt bad about the extra nuts I cobbled together a dinner that was too light so was hungry by 8.30 and had leftover chicken...
            #4: No Atkins bars except in dire emergencies. None
            #5: Weigh in on Mon and Fri but don't get flustered and ruin an entire day after a bad weigh-in. Keep plodding along!
            #6: Continue writing down what I eat each day and start recording my measurements ASAP (okay, today, Tues) Wrote down all food, took measurements and photos

              My goals:
              1. Post to my challenges (all of them) at least 4 times a week 2/4
              2. Exercise a minimum of 5 days a week. I can't do the exercises I have been doing because of my eye problems, but I CAN do something, and I will get back as soon as I can.--abs, squats, walked 12,201 steps, upper body weights
              3. Diary my food daily--EVERY DAY-did today

              5. (New) Try a new recipe or food at least once a week. I tend to get in a rut pretty easy and need to try new things

                    Hey All,

                    Was home all day yestereday with a sick toddler who promptly gave me what he had, so stomach flu all last night. Feeling a bit green today. Ugh.

                    No coffee - just weak tea today. Better than splenda faux juice beverage on upset tum.
                    Exercise 4x/wk - walked a bit today. Not much, but still something. Got light headed doing it.
                    No grazing at dinner time - no threat of that. Not sure I am eating anything today.
                    1500 calories or less - this one I have nailed. It will be a big surprise if I keep anything besides fluids down.

                    On the bright side, I weighed in at 146.4 this morning. My lowest weight thus far on Atkins. I know that it doesn't really count considering the night I had, but it is the silver lining to a tummy bug.

                      Morning all!
                      I've done pretty good.
                      #1 - I'm cutting out all nuts!! (they're the worst for me)... I hope this helps my mindless snacking! ü
                      #2 - All fruit except for berries and an occasional apple. ü
                      #3 - No more than 4 oz of cheese a day - this includes cream cheese! lol I had about 4.5 oz

                      #4 - I'll exercise at least 4 days a week for 60 minutes Haven't exercised yet
                      #5 - To track my food into fit-day daily ü
                      #6 - To stay accountable... to admit if I mess up and post in the challenge daily. ü
                      #7 - I'll drink at least 80 oz of water a day ü
                      #8 - & I'll see about cutting out the coffee.... I'm undecided!! LOL ü
                      #9 - No more beans!!! ü
                      #10 - To be cheat free for the entire challenge! Working on it...

                      Scale is under 195... getting better and feeling better already!

                      Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

                        Great Job Everyone!
                        Titan, sorry you have the flu. I hope you feel better soon!

                        My pledges will be:
                        1. Start gradually adding decaf to my regular coffee until I'm only drinking decaf. I used a scoop of decaf in my regular coffee. I will continue this for a couple of days and then substitute 2 scoops.

                        2. I will drink 100+ oz of water every day. done.
                        3. I will not cheat and that includes sugar free candy. done.
                        4. I will take a multi-vitamin and a calcium supplement every day. done.
                        5. I will only eat cheese once a day. done. I'm going to change this from once a day to only 3 oz of cheese per day.
                        6. I will use Fitday everyday. done. 1593 cal, 69% 8% 22% 48-16=32 net carbs I'm on rung 2 - 30 carbs/day
                        7. I will finish the C25K challenge. Didn't run today, but will before the week's up.

                          Not great. Things just get a little fuzzy at the end of the day my resistance goes out the window.

                            You are not too late!!! Just have your four or more pledges posted by early Friday. Everyone can tweak until Friday, then it's set in stone for the first 4 weeks!

                                Thanks, everyone, for your concern. I've had another real bad day, but I have to get myself in gear for company this weekend and surgery next week. No time to cheat today and I actually sneaked in a little recumbent stepper time. I just got home from church and choir practice, with an armload of stuff for our Thanksgiving programs and the Christmas cantata and a "praise and worship' musical (this is a new one on me???). We'll probably give our Southern Baptist preacher a coronary!

                                I've got so much to do tomorrow, and so few hours in the day. I will be away from home much of the day, so I already have legal foods in my lunchbox cooler and my big water bottle ready to go.

                                I see everyone is doing quite well so far. TitianWasp is co-captain with me and will be starting to help keep things going smooth as soon as she is feeling better.
