I've loved this challenge too, Sunny and Titian - thanks so much for organizing it all and keeping us legal throughout!
It was wonderful to try new things and ways forward with you all, but I think the best part for me was the chatting and keeping up to date with everyone's goings-on (is tha a word??)
I'm kind of nervous that without this challenge to keep checking into I may lose motivation ....but I guess if we can't help ourselves wha hope do we have???

So have a wonderful vacation everyone! Enjoy Christmas with your families, hope there's lots of love and warmth and (not too much) good food. Hope we all get to catch up again somehow, somewhere!

I think this challenge was actually a success - maybe not in terms of points and such, but we've had a group of people supporting each other through quite a bit more than just losing weight for the last couple of months. We've had family triumph and tragedy, career changes, health challenges - lots of things that can really knock someone off kilter, but in this little group here, we've been able to come to talk and have a shoulder to lean on. How is that not a success? I think a few of us have even lost weight - more success!

The fact that despite all the other thing's we've had going on, we've still come here to catch up and bounce ideas off each other is rather remarkable. We've been less active with the holidays, but we're still here.

I think Sunny gets two thumbs up for being as strong and selfless as she is. Yay everyone at the Slow Losers Challenge. I think we've all won in a sense.

Well, friends, it's time to call an end to the Slow Losers Club Christmas Challenge. I decided after the second week that the points system wasn't going to work, but you have to have some way to keep track. What I decided to do was to declare every member that stayed until the end a winner! Just coming back and checking in until the end is worth something. Hopefully, we learned something about ourselves and something about the other team members on our journey.

P.S. Emma has started a 2008 A New Year, A New You Challenge--gee, wonder where she got the name??? Maybe some of you should check it out.

I'm still thinking on a challenge, but with the emphasis on exercise, diet and water consumption. More like the challenges were on eDiets. Only, we had several teams competing against each other. I know I need some kind of incentive to keep trying. I'm very good at keeping my commitments made to others. I do know 2008 is my year to shine!
