        Wow, I'm in shock! I dropped my 4 1/2 pounds I needed to lose for this challenge and met my Christmas goal weight of 145 pounds! What is so shocking is that I have been eating LOTS! Maybe it was the 7 miles of walking yesterday? Rather than going for another 5 pounds weight loss, I think my goal will be to keep it off until Christmas and increase muscle tone. Oh, and get back to Couch to 5K running plan. That will be a huge challenge for me!

                      Selfreinvented: Come join us.... this is a wonderful board to be on. We're all losing weight and having fun doing it. The people here are a great support team.


                      Emma: I'm down again... hooorray !!! That is 7.5 lbs TOTAL off my challenge weight. I know a lot is water weight.. but.. I can put on my size 12's again AND breath!!!!! So I will take it.

                        I have no clue what's going on. I am working out now every day. I am walking on the treadmill and running sprints, and doing my ab workout with my bender ball (very good investment ladies ) and here I am almost done with week 2 of induction and I have only lost 5 lbs. I lost weight my first week but only lost about .5 lbs this week. I have been eating on average:
                        Breakfast:
                        3 eggs over medium
                        3 or 4 slices of bacon
                        snack:
                        1 mozarella cheese stick (I havent been having cheese sticks this week to see if cheese is stalling my weight loss but still no change and the first week I ate it every day for snack)
                        a few slices of peperoni
                        lunch
                        2 cups romaine lettuce
                        1 tbsp minced onions
                        3 sliced black olives
                        4 oz shredded chicken breast cooked in a slow cooker
                        olive oil and red wine dressing
                        snack
                        a few slices of pepperoni
                        diner
                        this is when I have my most carb rich veggies
                        steam broccoli or green beans
                        and I dont have more than I am supposed to
                        and then I have protein (chicken, bunless burgers, meatloaf, etc.

                        and thats it. I dont know what i'm doing wrong.

                          I am 2/12 as of this mornings weigh in.....Thanks to all that are taking part in this challenge it is really helping stay focused on my goals and not all that yummy smelling holiday food.

                            Well, I am down to 167.5. I guess even a tiny weight loss is good. I am just worried that If I am loosing so slowly on induction that when I move on to OWL that I won't loose or that I won't be able to go past the 1st rung. Anyone out there feeling like this? or had a similar experiance.

                              Is it too late to join this challenge?? If not, I'd love to join! I just had my pics taken on Sunday by my step-daughter, so I could use those as well as my measurements from that day if that's ok.

                                goodmorning everyone hope things are great i want to report that im down another 2 pounds i know that i need to stay off that scale everyday because it use to be when i didnt lose a pounds i would just mess up but this challenge is so good for me and now i know that when im not losing pounds on the scale im losing inches it took me about 1 year to get focus and now i am
