    How about a snow woman with a smaller middle ball? That could be a cute ornament BTW, I"m a full 2 lbs down so that's brought me a teeny bit closer to my Christmas goal Just the boost I needed. I shall continue on with induction for another couple weeks.

      Just checking in. Glad to see that we are all on track! Well, except for me perhaps.... ate an entire chocolate bar last night. No great reason or insight into that one; it was there, I was there.... Stinkers. The good news is that I have been on that treadmill! All 250 lbs of me, running, bouncing and panting my way towards goal!

      Keep up the good work everyone. And stay away from those chocolate bars!

        Hey Emma! Since my weight was fluctuating between 187 - 190, you started me at 188. Well guess what? I'm now down to 184. Yipeeeeeee!!!

          This weekend was a bad weekend. I tried my hardest not to cheat, but I failed. My scale did not go up though...not yet anyway. I got back on track right away on Monday morning. I will do my official weigh in on Friday before I leave for AZ.

          Can someone tell me what you guys mean by rungs??? OWL rung 9 does that mean they have been on rung for nine weeks?
          How does one become a butterfly?

              hey, you can make your own emergency supply of low carb chocolate, buy some unsweetened and melt it, add a touch of splenda and harden it on parchment paper. break into bars. ta daaa! Still not great, but lower in carbs than the alternative. a safer cheat

                Did Atkins on and off from Feb 2005 until April 2008. Fluctuated between 15 st 1/211lbs and 11 st 1/155lbs.
                On different weightloss programme from 28th May 2008 start weight 14 st 11/207lbs.
                Current weight 10st 3lbs/143lbs.
                Ultimate Goal Weight 9 st/126lbs.

                  I weighed this morning and it looks like the scales might be starting to move in the right direction again. Official weigh in is Saturday, but I'm hopeful!

                  Let's keep it up, we want to be looking great for Christmas!

                    I am just checking in. It looks like everyone is on track and doing well. I don't want to weigh in this week unless I have to. I have felt bloated since my trip last week and I am re-inducting this week to get back on track.

                      I lost 0.25 pounds when I weighed this morning. Even though it's small, I'll take it! Beats gaining anyday. I guess that's why I normally weigh just once a week.

                      192 pounds gone is incredible!!!

                        Shauna....buzz on over to the Induction and Ongoing Weight Loss part of the forum and check out the info on the "rungs" that Dr. A talks about in his 2002 edition of the book that we follow here on the board. Atkins is a multilevel way (rungs) of eating in order to find what foods works and what foods don't work to help lose weight and maintain a healthy life style.

                        And making it through the weekend is THE hardest, in my opinion. Good for you getting back on track Monday morning. It's all about baby steps and getting into the groove. Hang in there! This is a way of eating for life...you just have to find your groove

                          Hip Hip Horray for all you losers!!!!! WOW over 192 pounds gone on this challenge! Yea!!!

                          I can't think of any suggestions to add to those already about the goalie award...but I like the tree and snow"person" with the shrinking middle ball holding a sign that says "Christmas Goalie!"..or something like that (gotta be PR about that one with the genders in the challenge... ).
