    How is everone doing?

ok gals, I think we need to get serious about this challenge. Assignments are still optional, but I don't see anyone participating in them or even posting to let us know how you are doing. We're all here to support each other.

This week's assignment has two parts. The first is easiest, PM someone who hasn't posted in a while and see how they are doing. They might have posted elsewhere on the board but have been too busy to visit our challenge. The second is to write a short paragraph telling about an activity you want to do or place you want to visit while on vacation. Or you can tell about something non-Atkins related that you are doing to prepare for your trip. I'll go first and post it next.

Sorry, Christina I know you have been faithfully here. BTW, did you try that 10 minute run?

Ok, well my sister bought some "learn Spanish quickly" kind of CD's and I hope to get a little something from them. If nothing else, it'll be a good review of everything I ever learned. Since I'm not a strong swimmer and am a huge nerd I would like to visit some of the archaeological sites in Playa del Carmen (assuming I go there and not Cozumel). One of the sites is Chichen Itza. There is also a pyramid located at Coba. Also well known is a small site called Tulum. The site I visited for this information may be slightly biased but here it is if you wanna take a look.

        Hey!

Sorry I've been lax! I work a lot and have hardly any time at home to get online because the time I have at home I spend excercising (thank god! lol) ...
I'm so geared up for the crystal tropic beaches this summer... I've lost almost 20lbs.. tons more to go but no bother!
I thought about going out and buying a swimsuit... I debated buying different sizes.... first I thought I'd buy an 18/20, but then I figured that'd be too easy, and considered buying a 12. But I also don't want to be disappointed if I cant fit in it come June.
So I think I'm gonna wait.

Sorry for not posting as much, lately I've had about enough time just to post quick questions to get answers fast and not been able to fully enjoy this place.

          CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I completely understand about the bathing suit thing. I would like to buy one just for incentive, but I don't want to end up not being able to wear it. I'll probably wait until 2 weeks before I leave and shop everyday until I find what I want. The only way I'll get one sooner is if it's on clearance.

            Thanks

Ya know, it's been soooo long since I've bought/worn one (actually I think the last time I did was when I was 20yrs old lol) ... I had no idea how freakin' expensive they are! Not only do I have to lose weight, now I have to save $$$ lol.

As u all probably know i kinda slipped up...due to midterm stress i think....but u know what really got me on track was telling myself that this was the year that i was going to have fun at the beach and LOVE my bathing suite...so i have started to look at the new victoria secret collection on line....omg the suites are sooo great, everytime i feel like i might cheat or i am too tired to go to the gym i just go there and totally get all my motivation back!!!

hehe as for the challenge itself i was 170 still when i last checked in but that was also durning some major pmsing....i am one of those gals who gains weight pre-period not so much during...so hopefully tomorrow i'll have broken the 170s.....that would be such a fab feeling....oh yes i have restarted induction for these last too weeks to give me the extra boost i need....but all my mini goal clothes fit and look hot!!! so i think the lbs just need to catch up to the inches!!!
              PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow! look at all these responses in only a short period of time.

Tomorrows weigh in day... I'm excited!

I tried running, I can't run. I can only run as fast as I can go, so I can't job is probably a better termination. I could only run for a couple seconds. Maybe not even a minute. But, I'm going to try again :guns

Well, I'm still stuck at the same weight!!!! But this WOE is so easy it would be stupid not to stick with it. I think I need to start a journal and post everything single thing I put in my mouth, from coffee to chewing gum to licking an envelope.
Congratulations to everyone who lost this week (sounds weird from an objective standpoint--guess you have to know the subject is weightloss). And an encouraging :hug for those of us who don't see the scale moving. Go put on some old clothes and remind yourself from where you have come and then put on some tighter clothes and remember that they will be loose some day too.

278 here .. finally broke the 280 mark! :icondance

if you don't have mybodycomp.com already, I suggest keeping track of your measurements there (or even in a notebook or something). When you get discouraged, you can compare your loss, very encouraging aswell!! I know I go back and do that time and time again.

                    congrats everyone :clapping

And that's a good idea mere. Post everything including your water intake... I'm not sure about the licking envolope thing though, it kind of reminds me of the taste! lol did I mention your great?

I've been pretty bad lately about water. I'm only getting in 60 oz per day and I used to get in 100 (before I felt work).
