      Sunny - Thanks for the shout out! I was not really "in" those pants, I think most of me was bulging out of them! LOL! I do hope they fit well in February since that is my total Atkins goal size. That would be super sa-weet!

          So what are folks doing to lose the lovehandles? I have joined one exercise challenge, but, having not exercised for decades(!) my body is one big aching pile of blubber right now. What strategy is best for lovehandle loss?





          290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

            LOL I have been forbidden, yet again, to exercise by my multiple doctors! The best thing you can do is all the aerobics that your body can stand. Do take it easy as you get used to it again. You will injure yourself and not be able to do anything at all.

              To loose the love handles, I have joined the abs challenge (1800) and the push ups challenge (250). I hope to loose the lovehandles and the pot belly. LOL

                I too will be joining challenges to lose the love handles...I'm also shooting for at least 20 miles a week....running, walking, or biking, or any combo of the three... I've got 11 done for this week so far.

                    I'm doing jazzercise about 3-4 times a week and also the stability ball challenge, abs challenge and push ups challenge!

                        I know exactly where you're coming from! There was a time when 20 miles seemed like 100 miles for me! Hopefully I can up the number by 10 miles per week each month...we'll see!

                          If you are new to exercise it's good to start slow or you will be put off - in my experience anyways! When I started this WOL I began running again, and used the elliptical machine, step machine and bike at the gym. Then I got bored and so got more into doing classes.

                          At the moment I'm training for a half marathon, so running is a mainstay - building up slowly! I also do 50 abs and 50 squats after each run as part of the abs and squat challenges. I also do 1 bodycombat class a week and 2X bodypump which is fab and to be recommended for toning up!

                            How's everyone doing? Are you all stating your exercises? I have been walking since March, with a little running/jogging thrown in. Right now I'm running much more cause it's cooooold out and it warms me up quick, and I've found it's so much easier in the cold weather. Also, abs and squats.... really feel those squats!

                              OMG! How 'bout if I just "think thin"? My body is still aching from Tuesday.

                                It's so good to read what everyone is doing to make this goal happen! I can't wait to see after pics the Muffin butt ones were so inspiring!

                                I do 30 min on my Elliptical and 15-20 min on the Stability ball each day. Then 50 squats, 100 crunches, and 20 push ups ......... Ia m looking for excercises that target the stomach hip area to add some variety each day!
