      Emma, I know it isn't fair. It really pi$$e$ my dw off, that I can eat so much and still lose. She tries and really has to limit the carbs and still only loses a fraction of what I do. Part of it is just being a guy, but why my body just kind of kicked into another gear, is beyond me.

          Men make me sick Seriously, Don, you are doing fantastic--must be the combination of your exercise and eating RIGHT!! My DH, who has never had weight issues, just cuts back his Blue Bell to 2 scoops a night if his jeans get a little tight --he STILL wears a 32 waist

              If she keeps on a comin' she can make it to Dallas as well. I am up some this week! After a great week last week, I am really upset with the scale this morning! So upset, that I'm not even going to say anything about it. I am just hoping that this morning was a mistake and that by Easter, it will be back to where it was or a little less. I can't even blame it on TOM!
              I did up my weight workout this week, but I don't think that increased muscle could account for that much of a swing. Maybe a combo of extra muscle and some water retention.

                Hey, I keep forgetting to weigh first thing!!! This morning I rushed to get out of bed to hear my dh talking to dd about her bf's visit this weekend and the expected house rules. So, then drank a bunch of water without thinking about it and forgot to weigh... Tomorrow I will weigh first thing I promise, either that or I'll just wait til Monday. btw How much longer does this thing go? You know I was on vacation this week right?

                  Liz, it ends this coming Monday with weighin. Emma has suggested anyone who tends to weigh less on Friday may do that rather than waiting til Monday.

                    While your weightloss and your journey there has been interesting to read about, and is probably a huge inspiration to newbies, I'm "listening" to your maintainance with even more interest. That's the part I really blew last time, and I must admit, even just the short time period that you've hit goal and below, seems as much as a new experience to me as the losing itself.
                    I hope you don't ever decide you don't need to be here

                            Well it was just an aboration yesterday. The scale was back to 194 this morning. Still don't know what happened. How do you go up three pounds and then back down three pounds in just a day???
