Re: *~A New Year, A New You~*
iyshiaf I just wanted to let you know that the side effects listed for almost any medication can be serious and scary even something as smiple as Tylenol if you read the warnings could freak anyone out. I know as a woman when your talking about hormone therapy it canbe even scarier especially with all the news and warnings out there. I have had lots of bleeding issues and hormone issues over the years. I also took that dang depo shot and had terrible bleeding issues from it so hugs to you I can totally relate. I ended up going off depo because I just couldn't handle it my body would not cooperate. As far as estrogen I have taken that on four different occasions. Twice for hormonal reasons during my IVF rounds. And twice for bleeding issues. I was given all the side effect information as well and kind of worried about it. I was lucky and had no side effects at all when I took it for the bleeding issues and hopefully you won't either. My doc told me that when you take a hormone your body is lacking it normally doesn't give you the side effects because it's replacing whats missing not giving you more then you need. However when I took it for the IVF I had headaches and bloating. But at that point I was giving my body extra not replacing if that makes sense ......... Anyways all of that to say try not to stress about it to much. Sometimes mentally we can cause symptoms just by worrying about them or looking for them. Hopefully your bleeding will get under control and the depo will work great for you. Chin up girl ......... I will keep you in my prayers.
