  • Re: Spring Into Summer Picture Challenge

albeit late, really late, I am joining this challenge. There are two more months to go, and I've got 4 articles of clothing i want to fit in.

1.) my fav. jeans from a couple years ago, havent tried them on in over a year, so who knows what I'm in for.

2.) pair of like size 27 pants i saw at the thrift store and had to have. I'm a 33 now, so I don't expect them to fit by June 21st, but come closer!

3.) my board shorts from 4 years ago. I wore them at 156 lbs that summer. Right now I'm 165.

4.) This pair of Marc Jacobs jeans i ordered off of ebay. They are labeled as a size 12....but they're clearly not. I wear a size 12 right now, and I can't get these more than 6 inches over my knees. I think they're really an 8-10.

Pics up by the end of the night!

So that was my original post, and I think the only picture I posted at first was of me in my boardshorts...to save you indecent exposure.

    so here's the boardshorts before:
Here's after...although there isn't a huge difference from the midriff, I did notice that they're no longer stretched taut over my thighs, and i dont have those bulging areas on my upper thigh, the shorts actually hang away from my body. So I must have lost weight in my butt/upper thighs. Also a lot more comfortable in the stomach area:

Here are the size Small (27 or so) pants that I had. This is where they got in late April when I was a size 33...

and here's where they come now:

Here are a pair of jeans I wanted to wear, that barely zipped, but just had too much muffin top:

and here they are now...fitting comfortably as of a couple days ago:

and last but not least, the marc jacobs jeans that i couldnt get past my upper thighs (I don't have a before pic but they started just slightly higher than the small blue pants above)...but here's the after...all zipped up!

OMG, you guys all look amazing, what a change!!!!!

So I ended up blowing it for the past few weeks.. BUT...half way through the challenge I was able to get the pants snapped closed...and yesterday when I restarted I wanted to see where I was at with them and they still went up and closed. Don't ask me how, but I a have never been so scared in ym life... just knowing I got them to fit and they might not have fit again....

So I will get my pics up tonight, I left my camera in my car which the husband has today. LOL

Again. you guys all look so great, you should all be SO proud!

At long last my pictures are taken. Somehow I managed to not only get into the pants but button & zip them. Of course I couldn't breath & I have a gigantic muffin top. I started laughing as I look like an oversized muffin~~~blueberry please!! So the pants have been put away for awhile. I really must do something with the muffin top.
