Good morning all. I had a bit of an epiphany yesterday. I was putting on my smallest bra on the smallest notch and it's still a bit too big. A year ago my bra size was a 40DD. Yesterday i measured for my band size and i am a 34!!! These are things we don't really think about. Which is why this challenge is so important. My scale is creeping along. Barely even moving and mostly just up and down with the same 5 pounds. But the changes in my shape are the most recognizable. Let's have a legal day with lots of exercise!!!

I think we need a countdown here:

21+31+30+6= 88 days left in this challenge... Already burned up five days... (And stoopid Easter candy didn't help any!!)

Too windy and cold out to bike... Screw it! I'm heading to the store for that recumbant bike! I need more than just the ab lounge!

Well, it's pouring down snow here! I am not amused at Mother Nature's fulfilling my request for snow on December 24th for a white Christmas on the day after Easter on March 24th! I don't buy her excuse that she got the holidays mixed up. Even a ditz knows it's officially spring and not winter! Why else would we be having a Spring Into Summer Challenge if it were not a fact that it is actually Spring?????

I have a recumbent stepper--it really saves the knees, while giving you a great workout!

That's my biggest issue - my knees! It doesn't take much to aggravate them with all this weight!

Got the bike, just have to assemble the darn thing! And I just got the kitchen cleaned up from the ab lounge! LOL!

Had to take the weekend off as we went to the lake and there were too many people and dogs in the trailer to get anything accomplished... but at it today. Hope everyone is working out to fit into their goal outfit

Anyone else notice how the extra daylight and warmth really seems to ramp up your energy levels?
I did almost 4 miles on the treadmill and tomorrow I OFFICIALLY join the Y! I can't wait because I LOVE their pool and swimming and can't wait to take some of the fun classes. I think belly dancing classes might help me get into my challenge jeans! =)

Did I ever tell you about swimplan.com? I can't remember. I'm a swimming lover too and swim a mile about 2-3 times a week. Colleenieweenie told me about the site, it's great!

I am soooo seriously slacking on getting my pics up...I truly do need to too! I'm 6.2 lbs from my 1st major goal...and 21.2lbs away from my untilmate goal of 150. I plan to meet that goal by the end of this challenge---I missed reaching goal by the end of the New Year New You Challenge by 6.2lbs. So, pics will be up later today or else

Hello Everyone.... I'm here, but I'm not too pleased with myself right now. You know the plan to stay strong this past weekend with my son;s b-day and Easter? Well it didn't work out quite as I had hoped. So I am restarting today at 169.8 (UGH) and I will post a picture today.

I am so mad that I have gained 15 pounds that I worked SO hard to get rid of...and I sincerely don't ever want to feel this bad again.

But anyhow, I am here and I am going to give this 110%. Thanks for not giving up on me =]

We won't give up on you, but don't you dare give up on you! This past weekend is over and done with and you can't do anything about the past, but you can look forward and do something about the future--starting today, right this minute. Don't spend another minute dwelling on past mistakes. You can do this! I know you can!

I have been involved with a personal exercise challenge since January 1 of this year and it's due to end on April 1, one week from today. I need to pledge my commitment to exercise to others to keep from slacking off, so starting today and ending on June 21, I am pledging to exercise 250 minutes per week. I will post my exercise type and minutes at least four (4) times per week on this thread and keep a running tally in my journal.

I think anyone serious about this challenge should think about keeping this thread active by posting your exercise and how you are progressing towards getting into those pants to keep motivation high. Summer will be here before you know it, whether we lose the pounds and inches or not.

I'm with you Sunny. For the past 3 months I have been involved with a grand opening of a hotel. I''ve been working 12 to 17 hours a day 7 days a week and had NO time for the gym. I did not feel bad about it because we haven't hd evlevators and I was taking about 7 flights of stairs several times a day and constantly moving equipment from floor to floor.

However, starting this week, my hours will start having some normalcy and I am actually off today. I have to do something to get back on board with the gym...............so, I am definately in!
