No, you didn't. I will go there and check it out! Thanks!

Sunny, that's a really good idea. It kinda goes along with why I asked what everyone was going to do to reach their goal. We want to see what works! People may get tired and want to try new things too and I might say "Hey Sunny! How do you do [exercise] I would really like to give it a try!" It also keeps me motivated to see how well the others are working. I need the motivation today because I feel like a brick..a big, swollen brick.

I went to Disney yesterday for 10.5 hours and I didn't get nearly the water I usually get. I could tell yesterday that my lower tummy was getting bigger, bloated like. It make me self conscious and I kept pulling down my shirt when I would see it. I didn't eat off plan and I didn't eat any sweets...I didn't even eat any sugar free sweets but this morning, I feel like I am that brick and I weighed 200.2. I feel bloated and weak and a little disheartened. Even my eyes are puffy. Just frustrated, especially about that lower belly getting bigger, it had been going down but I feel like I will never lose it. Ugh.

Don't let it get you down! It's because you did things way differently yesterday and your body is trying to compensate. Not getting enough water is enough to cause bloat, especially with all the activity. You were there for a long time. All that walking would cause your body to hold on to fluid to bathe the sore muscles to heal them. I promise it will go back away if you just rest up and drink plenty of water. Stay off the evil scale! Give your body time to recover it's equilibrium before you weigh again. Tell that nasty subconscious that is making you feel disheartened and frustrated to take a long hike off a short pier.

          Sunny!

I feel bad about complaining about it in this thread but that area I took the picture of for this challenge is the area that is giving me so much grief! I hope that is the case and that I am just PMSing and bloating and just being overall icky. I am not giving up though, I am going to do at least an hour's cardio exercise (swimming or treadmill) for six days a week. And I have incorporated floor exercises into my routine to tighten my stomach and back muscles. At the beginning of April, I add more and more intense ones. Thanks for your support!

Sunny I think it's a wonderful idea and I am with you. I am involved in a lot of challenges like abs, pushups ect ........ but seems like the real weight loss for me only comes with hard work outs like pushing myself on my elliptical, treadmill or outdoor runs when the weather allows. So it's back to those for me and I will post several times a week when and what I am doing. Here's my pics finally ......... sorry they are blurry my good camera is away getting a flash fixed so I used a crappy one of my kids.

These are a pair of Capri's I loved in the store and they were on clearance from last years summer stock for just 3 bucks. I had to jump several times to get them over my hips and there's no way they are getting even close to buttoned. Porcelian as you can see my belly is my HUGE issue as well ....... 7 babies and years of overeating and being Huge has it my biggest problem area. I crunch and crunch and crunch to no avail ......... UGH!

Here's to June 21st and pants that hopefully button up!

Heidi, I think the key to mine is going to have to be just melting that fat off with more cardio and such. I know the ab exercises are good because they strengthen and reshape your muscles, but I also know it won't matter what they look like if you have them covered with a bunch of fat. I will be back to swimming today!

Good luck everyone! I hope everyone (including me!) has great success.

                  Hi Heidi,

7 kids!!!! You amazing mom. I have 4 - Ariel - 9; Kai 8; Conan 2.5; Hailey Rose 1; - and I feel like I'm going crazy some days. Add school and work and this house rocks on most days.

I think I have a 'fold' in my lower abdomen due to my children. Yes, I'm overweight right now, but I didn't have that fold until after my 4th child. And, how I got overweight was basically ate whatever I wanted while I was pregnant and some of that weight stayed with each child.

Anyone else have this phenomenon after kids?

I have only had one child but I swelled up like a balloon, not just fat (which I did get) but my blood pressure went up and my whole body swelled. I was 183 when I went in to have her but only a few days later, I was 149 after the swelling went down. I did get that little overhang and it never went away because I got fatter after I had her. Now I have it and the skin is very fragile, I have torn it before on accident. It's medical term is panniculus, i believe.

That was plenty of exercise when it has been a long time since you did exercise. You need to take it slow and easy until you gain strength and lose some more weight. You will have to stop if you hurt yourself.

Is it very warm where you are??? It's still cold, windy and snowy here, so I am not getting to walk outside much. I have only been to Mexico once, and it was the last week of August--I thought I would melt! I would enjoy some of that heat right now.

I have my challenge pants where I can see them the whole time I am exercising. I pledge to get the exercise out of the way earlier tomorrow. Actually, I have to, because I have choir practice tomorrow night, so I can't wait until 8pm.
