    Chick, this is a challenge. What did you pledge to yourself that you were going to do? Scroll back up and look at your before pic. Man, that works for me!

      290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

        LOL, well tell me something now and I will hold you to it. Otherwise, you need to stand in front of a mirror naked and eat something. There is a guy here that lost a whole lot of weight by saying if he wanted to eat something he didn't think he should, he had to stand in front of the mirror naked and do it. That would certainly put me off my appetite.

            Sorry for the lateness in my joining but Susan said I could. I sure need it. My daughter who is 5 years old took the pictures today and the suit I am wearing is too small. I can fit the skirt now but the jacket........well my breasts aren't even trying to help a sistah out . I can't button the jacket at all ......lol. I will take pictures in that same suit when we are finished. Best to all of you in this challenge.

              No kidding! It's hard enough having clean pots, pans, and dishes to make and eat what I'm supposed to... ack!

                    I've been slacking on the exercise..Hoping this weekend is nice enough to walk outside...I have spring fever...it may be spring but we had about 7 inches of snow last night I was flipping through channels the other night and saw that they were doing a belly dancing workout on FIT TV...which I wanted to try...so I did and I think I'm going to start doing it whenever it's on...It's kind of challenging because I'm not sure if I am doing it right...have a great weekend everyone

                      Okay, I didn't do any formal exercise today because I was having a really bad leg day and had to drag the stupid thing. I still did a lot of walking and way too much standing. Back at it tomorrow. Surprisingly, my arms weren't sore today.

                        Aloha everyone! Sunny sorry you had a bad day with your leg.. try not to overdue it tomorrow ~ we need to see your Sunny face

                        By the way purchased the Leslie Sansone DVD -- must say I worked up quite a sweat with the 1 & 2 mile workouts this evening.... Decided to wait till tomorrow to go try the 3 mile.... might even try putting them all together one day

                        Pedaled away at work for 6 miles and then after I did the DVD workout got my stability ball out for 20 minutes of crunches and little bit of leg work so my muscles are officially fatigued and lucky me my daughter keeps calling me to come upstairs every 5 minutes -- my arms hurt just typing!

                            Just wanted to check in and say to Sunny, FBG and others doing so good with regular exercising. I am just a slug and need to get moving --I have no excuse 'cept that I am lazy.

                            Just made some "tuna muffins" for the first time a couple of days ago and found some (< 1 carb per tablespoon ) lemon and herb tartar sauce and this is now my NEW FAVORITE ATKINS recipe.

                            Have been working on changing out my summer and winter clothes "closets" and am so excited about all the stuff that fits me now that I could not wear last year. I have a HUGE pile of stuff to donate or sell on eBay that is TOO BIG (instead of the normal too small) which is great.

                            My goal for the coming week is to do some kind of regular exercise (I have Tae Bo, The Firm, Winsor Pilates, Denise Austin, Joyce Vedral and Callenetics tapes--all in nearly new condition --but they only are effective if they are actually put into the VCR) at least 3 times before next Saturday. There--I said it--and I give you all permission to kick my butt if I do not follow through.

                                Hi,

                                Just checking in for today. I'm not doing any formal exercise either right now pamelaaustin - the others here are amazing with their regular exercise. I do walk quite a bit everyday but I'm looking forward to being more formal with my exercise this summer.

                                Anyone doing Pilates? How do you like it?
