Look fairly good even. I am just complaining a lil how there is absolutely no standardization in the clothing industry. Anywho i tried on my challenge pants again today. There has been little change in the muffin top but the butt is a lil more comfy. Maybe a little easier to get them up. I worked out yesterday for a solid hour...at least. And i felt really really good after. Gonna do some fit ball work today. How about everyone else out there in chalenge land? How are we all doing keeping up with exercise and staying on plan?
I am still doing well on the plan with a big fat F on the consistent exercising

I totally agree with what you are saying about the clothing sizes. A friend at work "gifted" me with a pair of jeans that no longer fit her. I am pretty much wearing 14's with a few 12's that I can fit into comfortably. Anyway, the jeans are from a company called Paper Denim & Cloth which apparently are "designer" jeans and they come in numbered sizes. These are size 31 and ALLEGEDLY equivalent to a US size 12. Well these jeans are obviously made by SADISTS and are probably closer to a CHILDREN'S size 12. I can barely get my legs in them--it is gonna be a long time before I can wear them. But,
it was sweet of her to give them to me anyway...

Made some yummy stuffed green peppers with cauliflower "rice" for dinner tonight and they were really tasty. I really can not believe the amount of veggies I am eating now. Tomorrow is my weigh in day so I am hoping for a loss. Hope everyone has a great week!!

I have been doing my abs pretty consistently but I have been down on my cardio exercise. I started back yesterday. I have been losing weight. I went down a chunk this morning but I had diarrhea yesterday. I counted the weight loss though because it was the first time I have seen below 190 since I started. Slowly but surely I am losing that belly. I tried on my challenge jeans last week and I didn't feel like I was going to have an aneurysm when I zipped them up. That's a good thing. I am going to try them on again today.

Soooo, I am so happy to report that I am down 8 pounds since starting this challenge and I have lost an incredicble amount on inches (4 off my abs!) and I decided to try the pants on one month later and guess what?!?!?!?! THEY WENT UP!!! And not only that, they are super duper low 11's (should totally be a 9, IMO) and they have 2 very weak snaps to close them..not even regular buttons and they buttoned and stayed that way!!! Still a slight muffin top, but before I couldnt even get the top of the jeans with in 6 inches of eachother and now they are snapped!!!!!

On another note, I could NEVER fit the jeans so I had NO clue they are actually high waters! ahahahahha

Thaks for this challeneg and really getting me motivated. I would have never thought to try somethig like this and it is so paying off!

Yesterday was great also. I don't need surgery on my knee. The x-rays & physical exam were excellent. Inflammation is the issue. Got a steroid injection in my knee & my knee hasn't felt this great in a very long time. Have a 2 week course of prescription anti-inflammatory meds. Tomorrow I can resume my normal activities. Monday I'm going to the gym to start working out!!

sorry haven't checked in in a while. I'm still at 190 but I know what the problem is. There has been a drought of food at my place due to lack of money. We've been scrambling so that at least we get veggies but I've been cheating a lot. fortunately due to my working out almost every day i haven't gained anything, but I haven't lost either. We are starting to get back on track though and now its just a matter of getting back into the swing of things..sigh..

                        • Re: Spring Into Summer Picture Challenge

so i re-tried-on my several items of clothing im hoping to get into. The boardshorts, which were close to fitting, fit way more comfortably now, with a less severe muffin top and should hang loosely on my waist after another 10 pounds (which is my goal by june 21st)...

the blue pants that are a size "small" by puma, with no stretch at all, got 1/2 way up my thighs last time, now they're at the top of my thighs but reluctant to accept my hips or fat *** (and i say that in the most lovingly way possible).

My marc jacobs jeans, which i could get 1/4 of the way up my ***, are now 3/4 of the way up it.

so!.....drum roll please.....there is a noticeable difference, and i should be able to fit in at least 2 things by the due date.

Also, i ordered a size 30 stretch jean, they came, they fit, but are tight. hoping to wear them on may 24th to my brothers birthday dinner.

                          On a depressing note...

I usually wear like a size 12-14, and size 32-33 jeans. I went to the Nordstrom rack the other day and tried on like 4 pairs of jeans. Some were 7's (which have never fit me), true religions, and AG's.

the 7's buttoned, with *** crack showing and muffin top (impossible to actually wear though).

                          the true religions didnt button

and the AG's wouldn't go past my thighs

I tried on a "32" of all of these jeans. I hate that even the largest size of designer jeans don't fit me. It's not fair. I feel like a lot of girls are my size, and the average woman is larger than me but we have to shop in the "plus size" jeans, which aren't even cute!!!!!

The only jeans that fit perfectly/properly for curvy women, that are super super cute are David Kahn's...which I've been wearing for 3 years now exclusively, but they're 165.00 a pair!!!!!! and never go on sale!!!!!!

Carbless, that is awesome. I can't wait till I can wear the Chip and Pepper jeans on my shelf (they are relaxed fit 32's ). I actually don't have a problem with designer sizes because I remember when sizes were smaller. I have a size 5 skirt from '93 that would be a 0 in todays sizes. I blame vanity sizing in part for my false sense of security. Those 7's will be on you and fitting perfect in no time at all. I'm still staring at mine from afar. The last I tried them they went up higher but still not over my butt. My thighs are just now starting to shrink though so I have my fingers crossed. That said, I've been afraid to try but there is a good chance I may be able to wear my sausage dress for graduation next week.
