      Morning, fellow Challengers!

      Looking forward to seeing my chiropractor tomorrow ... I over-extended my left hip last week and it's making exercise uncomfortable (even though I've continued with it) ... I need a good "crack!" You get older and the pieces of the puzzle don't fit together as well as they used to

      Other than that, everything is great ... have a good one, my friends!

        Good for you Norah! I'm very proud of you for keeping up the good work. I lack there in that department. My back is still just a bit tweeked, but I'm doing what I can. My knee surgery is in two weeks and two days....nervouse.

        Anyhow I'm going to post this question later today, but I wanted to ask ya'll first. How do you measure your veggies? Do you go by the cup or do you go by weight? For the first month I went by weight.....which turns out to be ALOT of veggies. And when my back got better just this past week I started just to use the measuring cups because it is faster (as I had alot of house work to catch up on...I needed more time). However I snuck on the scale again and I'm back in the 300s .....I've not cheated, so the only thing I can think of is not enough veggies agin....Thoughts please?

        So to night I'm going to make wooshie pie for the first time....however I can't seem to find horseradish at the store....where abouts do they hid that stuff, lol.

          • Consume daily vitamins,
          • drink 96 oz water,
          • walk on treadmill for 30 minutes 5 days/wk,
          • exercise 3-4Xs/wk,
          • lose 10 lbs (get under 200 by Oct 31st),
          • be active for 1 hr everyday
          • NO CHEATING.

            Hello and Happy Middle of the Week, fellow Challengers!

            Hi, Liss ... glad your back is better. I measure my veggies by the cup (don't have a food scale). Is the weight gain hormonal, maybe? Not taking in enough of the good fats? Too much salt? Not enough water? One reason I like to weigh myself monthly, instead of weekly (much less, daily!) is those normal, daily fluctuations in weight would make me go psycho Are you losing inches, instead? I know it's frustrating but don't let that scale bring you down because, as we all know, scales are EVIL!

              I did start a new type of birth control....and I don't think I'm taking in enough veggies.......Water is good, no cheating at all. Maybe salt....hmmmmm. we'll see. How's everyone else?

                New birth control ... I wouldn't be surprised if that was it, Liss. Well, it's a change your body will adapt to ... give it time Other than the lack of veggies, sounds like you're doing everything according to plan ... stay away from that EVIL scale for awhile, will ya? HUG!

                    ME!?!?!?! Stay away from the scale...I'm trying, lol. I promise, I'll have my son hide both of them one day....hehe. I'll try for next week. I'm back down today a bit... I tried the wooshie pie...it wasn't all that great, lol..Maybe I did something wrong.

                      Hello, fellow Challengers

                      Went to the chiropractor yesterday trying to get my left hip back where it's supposed to be; still hurts a little, so maybe I strained a tendon or something. Anyway, I can still do my workout, and that's what counts. Add tendonitis in the left shoulder and arthritis everywhere ... getting older is a b*itch! Enjoy your youth, kids, and don't ever take it for granted!

                      Other than that, everything is okey dokey ... we're supposed to get some rain today and tomorrow and, boy, do we need it ... the grass goes crunch, crunch, crunch when you walk across it

                      Have a very Atkins kind of day, my friends!

                        Norah....I wish there was something I could give you to show you how much you ROCK!

                        I'm down 25.8 pounds total as of this morning. I had my p.j.s off and my feet on the scale this morning before I even knew what was going on, lol. I think I was still half asleep, lol =) Slow going, but I'm happy about it.

                        I just finished my sauteed mushroom and cheese omlet...mmmmm, no bacon to day though =(

                            SUPER SWEET! Nice Job! IS that you and your husband? You guys are so darn cute together! No weigh for me until 10/31. I really just want to be at this month's starting weight of 230. That was before all **** broke out and I gained back 7 pounds. If I am back at my starting weight I wont feel so bad. The pants are loose again so I think I am there!

                              Razzle, there is no arguing with loose pants ... regardless of what the scale might say (and, as we all know, scales are EVIL! ) your pants - which know intimate parts of your body - do NOT lie!

                                That is me and my hubby Razzel...he's so stinkin cute it makes me sick some times, lol. Married 8.5 years =).... I think I'm going to stick with ya on the now weigh in untill Halloween. That is only 8 days away OMGoodness! I still have 8.2 pounds to lose in that time...hmmmmmm, what to do what to do?? Lol. So what is the challange name for November? Up with Turkey...Down with Carbs? LOL, j/k.
