      Day...gulp...24 cheat free.

I almost cheated a couple of times this week, but stayed the course and left those devilish brownies alone!

I've almost completed a MONTH! That is my big goal right now.

Whelp....I hit Day 25 on Friday and then, without realizing it until the food was in the tummy, I had a cheat. Well, it was more of an oops, but since I wasn't sure if it was legal food and STILL had it I guess I had to call it a cheat.

So now I'm on Day 3, cheat free. I hope I can get through another 25 days, maybe even hit my goal of 30. I may have done better but the Lebanese food called, and even though it was all veggies there were some chick peas in there and I should have known better.

Wow, last night was bad. Wasn't as bad as it could have been, but still bad. I went out for a happy hour to say goodbye to a coworker and they had Fried Green Tomatoes and these Hashbrowns with smoked salmon and they looked so good I tried some. It sure was delicious going in but I felt horrible afterwards..well, not directly afterwards, I felt horrible after I chased those carbby items with 2 gin and tonics. But, I didn't eat a lot and when I left I passed by a cupcake shop and thought "well, I screwed up tonight already, whats a cupcake?" I recognized that voice immediately! Thats the voice and statement I hate, the one that always sabotages me! So I walked right past it and got on the train and went home.

THEN, my hunny picked me up at the station and drove right to Chipotles because she hadn't had dinner. She got the soft tacos and I really wanted some too, but instead (since I knew I had already eaten badly and couldn't really trust myself to order anything) I just got a diet coke. The Evil voice popped up again saying "hey, you didn't have the cupcakes, you could at least put something more substancial on your stomach so you aren't going to bed hungry tonight, whats a few small tacos when you already had carbs today???" Nope...it was 8:15pm and I had made a promise not to eat after 8:00pm anymore, so I got through that too.

So.....if I can make it through today, and plan on it, I will be 1 Day Cheat Free.

You all are so impressive! I last cheated on September 18 with a few glasses of orange juice and two freezer pops. Since then I have not gone off plan. I was eating walnuts/almonds during the following two weeks but under 5g per day total. I have since stopped nuts and I am doing a clean induction with more approved greens as my carb source. I don't know if I should count when I stopped nuts or the 15 days since the orange juice. I stopped nuts completely on September 29. I am going to say that I am 5 days cheat free.
