  • March water challenge


    It's March and we still need to remember to drink enough water each and every day.
    Come on and join me for the MARCH WATER CHALLENGE!!!

    Drinking enough water is vital on Atkins for many reasons.
    It helps to flush toxins and fats out of the body protecting the kidneys, prevents dehydration,
    helps to prevent constipation and helps with water retention.
    Plus it gives you something to do with your hand other than stuff food in your mouth and it's one of
    the easiest challenges to do!!


    RULES
    1. Commit to an amount of water you will consume each day (64oz minimum).
    2. Sign up A.S.A.P. The sooner you sign up the more you'll drink this month!!
    3. Post your water intake no more than once a day (or twice a week).
    4. Join in by putting your name in Alphabetical order then each time you come
    in copy/paste the latest list of names then change your numbers.

                Good morning! I had such a grad day so here is how I am getting my water in... My hubby (who loves the dreaded Wendy's fast food!) brought home a large diet coke for me... I dumped the coke and filled the nearly 1 litre cup with water... and there I go nobody needs to know I am really drinking water! LOL

                  I have a 1 liter Earth-2-0 bottle and I just make sure I fill it and drink it 3 times a day. Works great for me! I try to drink it all steady through out the day as well. 1 bottle from breakfast to lunch, the next lunch to dinner time, and the last one from dinner till about an hour before bed. I find that if I stop then I am not waking up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom lol

                    I need to be held accountable for my water consumption. Most days, I do well, but on occasion, I will turn in a real dud. I am going to commit to 64 ounces every day, with the every day part being most important.

                          Everyone is doing great so far!! Welcome Adri and Todd. The way I get my water in is I have a 30oz covered mug with an attached straw that came from the hospital I fill it up 5 times a day...I know how many times I should have filled it by the time of day it is. I get up in the morning and fill my mug before I fill my coffee cup. I use to drink 3 - 4 Diet Rite sodas a day and the rest of the time I was drinking coffee...NEVER water - now I drink water, 2-3 cups of decaf coffee and once or twice a week I have a Diet Rite soda - amazing how this WOE has changed my ways!

                          Keep up the great work folks!! Lets waterlog ourselves!!!!
